What a hidden gem of a place. Owners are super nice and welcoming. Room was a pleasant surprise. It was also very comfortable. We were in #27. It was spacious and well equipped. Everything was good. The balcony door was very difficult to open and close though and the front door could have used some wd40…but in the grand scheme of things, minor things that can be addressed. I think that’s the only thing that was bad. However the location, the grounds, the lake were very nice. The place was clean and well maintained overall. Would definately recommend and return when it was warmer

Certainly nothing fancy, but great little place for a one night stay and $99. Just came to sleep, so didn't use any outdoor amenities, but assume its like the room - nice, but very basic. Great little kitchen to store/heat a few things up. Was very happy to find a decent place near muskoka at a palatable price point and friendly staff, since not here long. Would come back 😊

Everything was good till we came back to the room for the night. Went into the bedroom to get something and when we came out the door closed and locked. Had know way of getting back in so went over to front desk. He was very upset to be disrupted he came over and for the next hour grumpy he began asking why we closed the bedroom door, and finally removed the door handle so we could gain access to the room again

This is a quaint little suite with kitchenette, very quiet location on the lake. Very picturesque. Reasonably priced and great service. Not the Hilton, but feels like home. Has all the appliances but no coffee or tea supplied. I will bring a little coffeemaker & coffee& fixings next time. VERY CLEAN! Thank you🙂

The staff warmly welcomed us upon our late-night arrival, and we appreciated their courteous and prompt assistance. Throughout our two-night stay, we felt secure walking to and from the property, venturing into town at different times of the day and night. The spacious room featured amenities such as a large smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen, and reliable Wi-Fi. Overall, our experience was excellent, and we would unquestionably choose to stay here again, rating it a perfect 10/10.

My reservation with Pinedale was cancelled because they had issues and closed all reservations. They did not give me enough notification and messed up my moving plans.

The first room I was in was extremely dirty. Food left in microwave; baseboards filthy; serious dust bunnies. Manager apologized and I was moved to another room. While a bit cleaner, there were many cobwebs and the mold on the shower tiles was disgusting. Would never recommend anyone stay off-season at this property.

Likes: Speedy check-in, comfortable beds, clean room, scenic location, good WiFi. Dislikes: dated interior, especially bathroom; no stopper for sink; no can opener/baking sheet for warming food. Pigeon poo everywhere on balcony, outdoor chairs.

The view was exceptional. I had requested a queen bed - for my spouse and I and received two double beds - so making it an uncomfortable sleep. More than likely I’ll be back to stay as it was spacious for family to visit while we were there . Overall - if your looking for a quiet place by the lake , it’s a great choice .

This is our second stay at pinedale inn. We had an issue with our reservation, but it was resolved to our satifaction. The property is dated and the owners are slowly working on upgrades. My wife and I were put into a large unit which sleeps 8. It was generally clean ( except for some items in the kitchen, which we didnt use anyway ). It's a beautiful spot with a great view of gull lake.

This hotel had the best scenery. We were right on Gull lake, such a peaceful place to stay. An older hotel but clean and the owners were very friendly. A full kitchen with everything you would need. I wish our stay was longer than 2 days!

First and foremost I could not use the shower as it had mold in the grout. Lots of it. Secondly it such a beautiful property but they had chairs outside by the dock and no cushions for them. So you had to bring chairs from your front door area down every time. The Muskoka website said moderate for fire burning which meant you can have fires at night but the owners wouldn’t allow it. Other than the shower issue, they did a great job updating the rest of the suite. Loved the white linens. And the bed was very comfortable. We had a quiet and peaceful stay. But I don’t think we’ll go back again.

The pinedale is a reliable motor inn motel. This can mean somewhat dated and overpriced, but cheaper for the region considering it is lakefront. No coffee for the coffeemaker was disappointing - Rooms still have a hint of previously being smoking rooms. For those reasons, it's probably not for me, but it is a simple quiet alternative in the region. Also nice that it is family run.

Gorgeous view right on the lake front. Lovely trees and you could watch the squirrels and birds in the trees. Our room was clean and spacious.

The little private deck with the lake view was nice. The kitchenette with apartment-size fridge was very handy and we brought takeout from a local restaurant. Very quiet during our overnight stay in mid September. Better access to the office would be the only issue.

We have spent e few days at this property for a few years now. Good, home base to reach the Muskoka area. It has a couple of Tesla destination chargers which may be available to use for a fee. The property around the buildings is well kept. The 3 BBQs and the swimming pool are a nice additions. However the rooms need some TLC, inside they are showing their age. The beds are comfy the kitchen is fine but bathroom needs new shower heads and caulking around the tub. the AC units are old and very noisy. Overall it is a reasonable value for your money.

What a beautiful spot, right on the lake, and our unit had a lakefront balcony. Having a kitchen was very helpful, we were able to cook supper and breakfast in-room and the cupboards were well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, dishes, kettle, coffee maker (bring coffee) and toaster. Its a full sized fridge, with small microwave and 4 burner stove & oven. There's a lovely picnic table patio area, as well as 3 bbq's in a spacious covered grilling station. Being a cool day, we didn't have the opportunity to use the in-ground pool, but it was available. The grounds are lovely, with the huge white pines & a play area for small children. The internet is good, and the rooms were very clean. The bed was comfortable and the linens fresh & new. I only stayed 1 night, but this would be a great place to stay on vacation.
