Great hospitality, excellent breakfast, cosy. Very good location and parking.

No hot water. The host tried to explain this away, first faulting the city road construction. Did not shower for the 2 days we were there. Very disappointing. I don’t think she knew how to solve this problem. She did give us a discount

The breakfast was delicious. Nicely presented. Very courteous regarding the need to have an early breakfast on one day only to take the SHIP on a day cruise.

For a senior the height of the beautifully appointed staircase was an issue. There is no chair-lift for carrying down luggage. TV despite the two men in our party trying to find the News Channel & an interesting programme before bed proved to be unsuccessful. However, as there is accommodation behind the house in a building only requiring one step inside - we would book that next time. My husband wishes to return to take another Ship Cruise next summer.
