Trouble checking in for parking pass, would not accept Canadian postal code, woman on the desk did a work around but did not explain parking in detail, at time of booking no one explained it was bike week, noise was extreme in our bedroom had to use earplugs to sleep

Calypso Resort is fine, Just wished we would have had more communication when checking in. When booking, I let the property know that we would be arriving between one and two. When I got the parking pass, I noticed it was good from 2 o’clock on, so I assumed that we could check in at two. Not the case! We got there at two and the door code would not work, so I called Panama getaways and they said it was because check in time was not until 4 PM. Panama getaways should inform their customers what their check in time is, even if it is not the same time the garage pass is good for!

The room was nasty! There was a bag of dirty towels and linens left in the room, I didn’t know they were dirty until I stuck my hands in it trying to find sheets for the pull out couch. Took it down to the front desk and the lady said oops the maid must have left it then was unable to give me clean linens for the bed until the next day. I went to use the blender and it was sticky with some kind of red juice all over it, clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The beds were awful. There wasn’t a hair dryer in the room, again had to wait until the next day to get one. There was a light in one of the bathrooms that was going out and it buzzed and flickered every time you turn it on. That never got fixed. The staff is incredibly rude. The entire stay was terrible and everything was such an inconvenience! They act like this place is the freaking four seasons when in reality it’s more like the best western, and to top it off the resort patrol tried to give me a parking ticket because it took us too long to pack up our car at checkout! While he clearly watched us the entire time trying to pack our luggage rack in 100° temperatures. We never once walked away from our vehicle, we definitely wasn’t trying to park in the 15 minute spots all day, and we had to pack it there because the luggage rack wouldn’t fit in the parking garage. He seriously said well I should have had you towed! The only good thing about this place is the location. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!

I enjoyed the look and feel of the property. Right on the beach and close to Pier Park entertainment. The downside was that the air-conditioning was down for 1.5 days while I was there. Luckily the weather was nice, thus getting a nice breeze.

Bed was a Queen, not a king. Pillows and bed were terrible, HOWEVER, the communication and quick responses were great. They brought us new pillows and the other things that we needed that the room was lacking. View and location can’t be beat. Elevators were awful and took forever and the parking garage is very low and seemed to give everyone problems when entering and leaving. I wish the bed was more comfortable, but overall, we had a great time and I’d stay at the Calypso again. The service really made up for what was lacking. Rachel, one of the house keepers, was so kind and apologetic, and did everything she could to ensure we had what we needed once we made are complaints known.

I participated in Ironman Florida and was perfect for my needs(location, cleanliness, quiet units, views, nearby dining), and especially for the family that came to watch and support me.

We stay there every year if it’s available when we’re in PNC Beach & love Calypso!!

The sky walk was fantastic for getting or toddlers across the road from the garage. The layout was great. I want to just stay from then on.

We have stayed here before and no issues. But this last time the was terrible. The bathrooms were so dirty, the master bed as bugs or something because we wake up with rashes all around our bodys, the fans were so durty also. Looks like who is cleaning here , never do her job. Since we can clearly see the bathroom nasty, . Also the balcony tiny tablet was durty with human blood, also the windmill kitchen wasn't working, I'll definitely not going to recomend this place again. So disappointed

Really liked this property and the great proximity of it to A LOT of things to do!

The condo was not cleaned well. The bedding in the master was sandy. The bunk beds had stains on the sheets and comforter, then my son found food under his fitted sheet on the top bunk. The floors felt greasy and sandy, so it was gross to walk on barefoot. The furniture was pretty beat up and the couch was sandy when we got there. Out of the 4 tv remotes, only one had batteries and all four remotes had no back on them. The air pump in the closet (to blow up rafts) did not have batteries, so it was useless. The AC went out our last night there. The master shower was filthy. The shower curtain was covered in black mold and there was leftover shower gel/shampoo all over the walls from the previous guests. Throw rugs in the bathroom and kitchen were disgusting and needed to be thrown out. It was hardly decorated so it did not feel very homey at all. Beach chairs are not included in this condo either. We paid 55$ a day for two of their chairs on the beach. The main light in the kitchen was burnt out so we had hardly any light in the kitchen. It was not worth the amount of money we paid to stay here for the week.

The location was good.didnt like the elevator situation ..the wait ....the people were friendly..I did have a situation with parking... family member had to park far from the site.. didn't like that.. different people were telling us to park in different places.. people in that area had no clue where you could park..and for us being out of town..we're worry about are safe..and are vehicle.

Everything was in a good walking distance & easy to get access to the beach.

I was notified there was an electricity outage in our resort but we had already made plans for the beach. Unfortunately we did not get to stay in the resort because it was so hot however the room was so tidy and had an amazing view. Panhandle Getaways customer service was amazing. I work in customer service and realize that the power outage was out of their control. They did their best to make the situation as comfortable as possible for all the very angry guests. The situation was anything but ideal and they offered refunds, purchased fans, left amenities open later for guests that had no choice but to stay in the resort. I hate I was unable to stay in the property but I was highly impressed with the level of customer service and my heart truly went out to them. Though my vacation ended up not being the ideal vacation especially after my family traveled so far, we did make the best of it.

The only complaint I have about property is that our room was forever away from parking which was across the street in garage. They have a skywalk but our unit was located at end of hallway. Very hard getting luggage and groceries to and from. The unit was good. Could use more pots and pans but if you don't cook any meals you're set. The king bedroom stayed nice and cool but other 2 bedrooms were hot at night and it was hard to sleep. Again, might not be an issue for some. Gorgeous views and walking distance to Pier Park and lots of other stuff.

The arrival was confusing, we weren’t allowed to get down to check in. We had to go to the tower across the street to park then go to our room. Had to eventually go to the office for our bands. Bathroom sinks backed up every day and smelled up the unit. I sent a message via the app we had to down load but no one came to see about it.

is pretty resort safe but customer service to crampy ladies but I didn't care I enjoy the time I expend there👍

I would suggest some of the outdated / worn furniture be replaced. The sleep sofa was terrible..It was also insulting to see rusty/ worn beach chairs and beach toys that appeared unsafe placed on shelves for guest usage.All items could have been replaced.The cost of booking the room should have shown more in the room.It was okay otherwise.Hopefully the minor changes will be made. We enjoyed our stay otherwise.

We loved the entire condo. It was nicely decorated. Plenty of space.

I really like the Condo, I will stay there next year if I can. But there was some very small negative I will says. 1st there was no clock in living room or the bedroom, digital or wall clock would have been great. 2nd the cheap vacuum cleaner need to be upgraded to one the really work. 3rd the door to the Condo do not have a dead bolt for extra security, did not feel safe in Condo. 4th the Condo doesn't have enough baggage charts to support 3 big Condo in April during Jazzfest. But my overall stay was pretty good and I really liked this Condo 1105W

It was a very pleasant experience!

We had the perfect view of the beach. The property is practically on the beach. It’s also within walking distance of Pier Park. The only thing I didn’t like was not having all the information as to where to check in at once on the property.
