Very old and makes you want to reconsider your choice when you drive into the resort. But , once you get your room you will be plesantly surprised at your accommodations. Very clean and nice.
We would stay there again.

The Drift Hotel is a hidden gem! It is a small little place right in the water. The staff were so very friendly, worked extremely hard, and were there immediately if you needed anything. Beyond that, they have bikes, paddleboard, and kayaks that you can take out for free. We used them everyday. There was a beautiful dock with chairs to watch the sunset, the marine life, or to just have peace. Will absolutely go again!

It’s an amazing, cozy little motel with a private beach. You can’t go wrong. Centralized location to Uber to local hotspots.

We stayed for 1-night on our road trip from MIA to Key West... it was good & fine. I'll start with the good - it is a convenient location and there is a beautiful view off the beach with easy access to kayaks and paddle boards. The beach was well groomed. Now for the fine part - our room was near the road so it was noisy. The room had a damp smell and the toilet didn't flush properly. There is a charge for ice. Lastly, that well groomed beach with a beautiful view was not very peaceful - the maintenance crew left a vehicle idling for 40min so it was loud as we tried to enjoy our morning coffee.

Front desk ladies work hard! And are very kind and accommodating. Rooms were spotless.

Everything was amazing except for the wifi:) It kept me from being on my phone so in the end, that was ok! We just couldn't watch Netflix at night!

L overly setting, nice and relaxing sitting on the pontoon.

Glad we chose this because it was much cheaper than other nearby places. Rooms are old-style (small, no closet) but nicely updated (paint, new tile) so we were comfortable. The grounds are lovely, especially the beach and dock with plenty of lounge chairs.

Clean, quite, updated rooms. Nice beach and dock. Only criticism is the lighting outside of rooms was poor/non existing. Need phone light to open door w/ key.

Spotlessly clean room and bath! Bright white linens and towels. Comfy beds. Only improvement I can suggest is waterproof cushioning on the dinette chairs as they are solid steel and not comfortable. Staff are genuinely friendly and eager to help. Great value for the dollar especially when considering they have paddle boards, kayaks and snorkeling gear for you to use. I will absolutely be back here with my family.

Amazing stay, quiet and perfect staff. Only thing that wasn't good was the check in. The room wasn't even ready until after 4

Good, would stay again. The shower could have been warmer.

A mixed bag! The beds were not the most comfortable, and the bathroom sink's water pressure was lackluster, and the absence of a microwave was a notable inconvenience as well. But on a brighter note, the hotel boasts a stunning beach area with inviting seats, charming shacks, and beach chairs, creating a delightful bay experience day and night. It's a lovely place to hang out and walk around. The availability of kayaks and paddleboards added an adventurous touch. Neighbor noise could be a potential drawback. Despite the downsides, the hotel exudes lots of untapped potential.

Great and cozy but too quiet

A little piece of paradise! The only complaint I have is that we stayed in room 1 and could hear the traffic on the road all night BUT turned on sound machine on phone and it was perfect! Would definitely stay again

Quant hotel with a small clean private beach and pier with chairs to sit on. Rooms were small but very clean and modern. Only complaint was when watching tv at the end of my evening the connection kept going on and off. Not enough bandwidth maybe?

I never made it to the Hotel. I screwed up the dates and they had no vacancy so not only could I not switch to other dates, they could not refund me for not going! I will never live this one down! We live in the area that is not only cold but there has been a major bridge shut down, so this mix-up only added insult to injury!!
My apologies, I didn't mean the hotel was terrible, the experience was. There is no way on my end to "not rate" the hotel. I'm sure it lovely and I appreciate that you tried to reach out to me before we unknowingly drove all the way there just to find out I had the dates off by a week!

The beach area was very nice. The rooms are nice. The only bummer was no hot water for showers, we only stayed one night then went to another place farther down in the keys so it wasn’t too bad.

Verry good!

I really liked this property! The room was beautiful and very comfortable! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The outdoors area was a beautiful spot for taking pictures, relaxing, and enjoying the views of the water and wildlife. Parking was easy and everything was convenient and walkable.
The only negatives: I couldn't find a USB charging port in the room (thankfully I had a plug-in adapter - but I thought this is something that could be a negative for some travelers) and the "beach" isn't much of a beach - the sand is about an inch or two thick and the only water access is a steep kayak dock.

The room was clean and appeared to be recently renovated. There was a nice little beach/dock area with available kayaks and paddle boards.

Such a great find! The property was small, quiet, and had its own little beach with plenty of lounge chairs. The other amenities were nice as well such as bikes, snorkeling equipment, kayaks and paddle boards. The staff were always friendly and glad to assist.

A clean basic inn with their own quiet beach. Simple, good amenities and very relaxing vibe.

Cute little hotel that's old Florida keys style on the outside but updated on the inside

Front desk service was great. The rooms were so clean and the bed was comfortable. Kayaking and bikes are available for use which is nice. Drinking coffee on the dock while looking at the water was amazing. Only downside is the walls are pretty thin so you can hear the next room. Wasn’t a deal breaker though. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Really nice place with a really nice beach. The position is strategic to visit the Keys. Personell is very available and polite.

Drinks out on the adirondack chairs on pier in the evening while watching sunset over the Gulf, and then again with coffee while watching sunrise in the morning, were an absolute highlight of our trip to Key West. Reminded me of being in the Carribean Islands...

Very cute, clean motel. Very safe area and easy check in. Room was ready early so had early check in which was nice (room #2) but they were doing repairs in room #1 so it was very loud off and on for a couple hours but that was ok because we were early in room. My one and only complaint is there was barely enough water to shower with…almost not enough to rinse soap away.
Overall great motel, super cute, would definitely recommend.

A very cute, hidden and quaint place. It has an awesome private beach with a dock to sit and have a glass of wine or coffee depending your time to watch the views.

Calm, quiet, and extremely clean. The lights in the trees at night create a relaxing vibe as well.

Nestled in the heart of Key Largo, this hotel surpassed my expectations. Impeccable service, stunning ocean views, and a tranquil atmosphere made my stay truly memorable. The rooms were well-appointed, and the amenities exceeded all my needs. A perfect tropical retreat!

Very clean rooms. Very nice staff. We had three couples visiting. One room had fridge freezer and microwave. One room only had a fridge. And one room had fridge freezer. Not a huge deal but just kinda odd. Not really close enough to things that were walkable. Overall a nice place and reasonably priced.

It was perfect, the only thing needed was a pool.

Loved the khakis, snorkeling, and water. Watch your step into the water; they are slippery. Otherwise, place was a great value, clean, and staff were wonderful.

Nice place, seems to have been newly renovated. The property is very nice and there is a boat dock on property. The price was great too.
