Clean, Quiet, good beds, a perfect stopover when we commute from Sweden to Spain!

An overnight stop chosen to be within a short drive of Troyes town centre. Pleased with my choice. The only reason I didn't give 4* and not 5* was the lack of a kettle in the room. Most hotels of this type provide one and I was disappointed not to have this facility here.

Very close to the highway junction. Secured parking. Very family friendly. There are two restaurants in close walking distance. Thank you again for the great service.

Have stayed at this hotel over-night many times. Always an excellent stop on our drive between Brussels and Lyon.

We have been looking for years for a good stopover hotel for our regular trips from the South of France to the UK. I have stayed in dozens but have never been totally happy. My criteria is clean, comfortable, near the motorway, pet friendly, secure parking, and nearby access to dinner choices. This Ace hotel hit every one. Success!! Only issue now is I just sold my French house so will not be doing this journey as regularly.

We have previously stayed here for a stop over on our way back to the UK and found the hotel good and convenient. However, this time the morning receptionist was moody, cross, slamming doors and plates, and rude dealing with customers. There was hardly any food in the breakfast room and when we asked for food to be brought we were told that when food is finished, this is it. So don't bother paying for breakfast unless you want a very expensive coffee! Needless to say, we were very disappointed and we will consider our options for next time!

The hotel room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The hotel was easy to find off the motorway and included parking. The breakfast was good. Guests at the hotel enjoy a discount at two next door restaurants. The only problem--and it was a big one--was the fire alarm that sounded for quite some time in the middle of the night.

I was in Troyes for work and found the ACE Hotel through this website. It was a little out of the way, hidden back behind some restaurants and a service station, but it was very clean and new. The bed was fine (not great) for comfort. The furnishings were pretty streamlined - meaning no extras. The soap for the shower was a tiny bar and the shampoo was a small bottle. For a man with little hair, this was ok. For someone with more hair, it might have been a problem. The photo here on the review page is pretty much what my room looked like. what you see there (and nothing more) is what you get. No fridge, no iron, no microwave or coffee maker, nothing like that at all. Just a clean bed and place to put your suitcase by the window. I didn't need anything more, so it was fine. But for a family or even a couple traveling, the room might seem a little stark. No exercise room, no pool. Typical of middle of the city hotels, but this one was on the outskirts of town, with nothing except the two neighboring restaurants nearby. I missed breakfast so can't comment on that. Overall, a good place to stay for a night if on business or traveling through but I wouldn't plan to stay more than a couple of nights here due to limited services otherwise. Internet/wifi speed was very good. No complaints there. Parking was plentiful and free.

The property, too, and staff were very good. The only issue was the shower - the only double room available was an accessible room. The shower was not made to drain. Water all over the bathroom floor. There was a squeegee in the bathroom which helped.

A very convenient place to stay while visiting the area.

Quiet, comfortable and clean

For the price we paid for a family room, we were astounded at the quality we received. The room was clean, spacious and well looked after; the beds were very comfortable; the staff were really friendly. I could not expect any more. We will definitely be staying at other ACE hotels around France!

The hotel room was OK and check in seamless. However, we paid for breakfast and this is not worth it. Despite several guests requesting bread and ham, the 1 staff dealing with over 30 people provided 2 slices of ham in half an hour. The food provided for number of guests is not sufficient and guests clearly ignored to the point they give up asking and leave. Unfriendly breakfast staff.

On the edge of the city, in a quiet off the main road location. Friendly front desk. Clean and bright. Good for a one night stopover.

Clean and practical hotel . Very good value . Comfortable beds Breakfast available at 7 euros , again adequate and good value 2 restaurants available on the doorsteps , la criée ( fish and seafood) or courte paille ( burgers and steaks) . Tried courte paille , decent and reasonable) Would definitely stay again. Very pleasant and polite staff

Just what we needed as a last stop before Eurotunnel home - Restaurants next to hotel serving late and good breakfast at hotel in morning bathroom and bedroom were spotless and staff were very friendly and welcoming - Comfy bed too and allowed dog to stay with for just €6 extra

Great hotel. Well priced and ideally located for getting to from the motorway and getting off again the next morning. Taxi getting to town was a bit pricey at €18 euro bit not much choice. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent value. I would stay here again

Fabulous service on arrival at reception. We got an early check in and the lady could not have been more helpful.Our room was spacious and clean. Comfortable large bed and climate control which is unusual for France. There were 2 restaurants right next door and we got a 15% discount there. The free on-site car parking was great. Driving into the city centre was simple and only took 5 minutes.
