A great hotel with friendly people.

The owners/managers are very nice. But:
- Everything in the village closes around 7-8pm. Totally quite and dark after that.
-The restroom was poorly cleaned (un-flushed toilet). Staffs may forgot to check it
- It would be better if they at least give customers a dish of breakfast (instead of handing out a plastic box), and open the dining room for breakfast (instead of asking customers to sit in a dark bar with so sun)

We had a fantastic stay at the Victorian Inn and Ferndale was an unexpected treasure on our trip to see the amazing redwoods on the Avenue of the Giants. Jenny is the most incredibly welcoming host - we can’t wait to get home and try the carrot cake recipe!!!

We loved our stay at the Victorian Inn. Ferndale was lovely and everyone was nice & helpful. The Abigail room was very comfortable! We wish we would have planned a couple more days there. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We booked the restaurant at the hotel and received a confirmation accordingly by mail. However, once on site, we have been told that the restaurant was closed. Very weird.

While the setup was great, it is extremely overpriced. There is not much going on to justify $450 night and $200 meal for dinner.

The owners were wonderful. Very accommodating to our little family’s special needs, no extra charges, and as friendly as can be. Food at the restaurant was great, and the bar was beautiful.

Loved everything about Ferndale and the Inn. If there was one thing I was not thrilled about it was taking my luggage up the stairs to our room, no elevator. But hey the overall experience was worth it.

Probably the coolest place we’ve ever spent the night. Loved the history of the building and the restaurant was just darling. Didn’t get to eat there tho because for some reason they are closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays(I believe those are the days). Was actually very disappointed about that but no worries we ate down the street at the Mexican restaurant which was very good! Just absolutely the cutest place!

The Victorian Inn was an absolutely unexpected jewel of a stop on our road trip along the California Coast. The dinner at VI was also lovely.

The hotel itself is not handicap accessible to the rooms there is There is no elevator in the hotel to the rooms all on the second floor there is a huge staircase that is very steep in size

The Victorian Inn is truly superb. As we drove up at sunset, I gasped in delight as we easily parked our car right in front of the entrance. Feels like European luxury. The inn keepers are delightful and made us feel like special

The Victorian Inn is a beautiful old hotel in a lovely little town. The room was spacious and comfortable and we loved the fireplace. The box breakfast was decent, but a hot breakfast would have been nice. Some hotels are back to offering full breakfast buffets. Loved our stay and wish it could have been longer.

It was awesome! It surpassed expectations. The lack of air conditioning wasn’t noticed with the windows and ceiling fan. The bathroom had fantastic water pressure and was a nice size. The mattress was comfortable and it was surprisingly quiet, we couldn’t hear our neighbors. Overall; adorable, comfortable, and worth the price.
