The place is rustic and very small, not much space to move around. Bed & pillows were good, towels small also. Food at the restaurant was very good with ample portions. A deep cleaning would be advisable!

The Sourdough Lodge was wonderful. The room was small but clean and comfortable, with a refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker. The coffee filters leaked, and an option of tea would be nice. The area around the lodge is absolutely gorgeous. The staff in the store and restaurant were very nice and helpful. Dinner and a beer were wonderful. I only got to stay one night, but I will be back!

A beautiful quaint lodge with wonderful dining and staff nestled in the mountain of Idaho! Perfect family getaway spot!

Not a fan of the staff. Only half of them were nice. The rest of them treated us like we were annoying. Cabins were nice but so gross. The cleaning was surface cleaning. Fans, blinds, ledges all had an inch of dust and grime on them. We left a few days early and were told they would refund us for leaving early. Then they deciced not to refund less thab 1 hour later. These are shady ppl. They are lucky its the only place to stay within 1 hour.

The property and our stay was great. Th3 food at the restaurant was great. The only downside was that the bed wasnt very comfortable.

Owners were present and very worried about making sure our stay was perfect. We will be going back here again. If you like quiet out of the way this perfect location.

Main issue is internet doesn't work most the time. Other than that it was clean and adequate for pur purposes.

Nice room, with "woodsy" decorating, clean, but very small. Lovely setting in the mountains, so not much in the area. Good restaurant right at the lodge, but they have limited hours apparently due to staffing issues. Closed at 6:30 pm, didn't open til 9 am the next morning. There was a coffee maker in the room.

Easy check in, right off the highway. Large cabin with great kitchenette and table for eating. Large bathroom, clean! TV was easily visible from kitchen and bed. Deck had a long bench for sitting. Wildlife were abundant by cabin and deck. Only inconvenience was the path to the cabin was a small dirt hill and we tracked dirt into the cabin. No broom in cabin. Quiet area. Fantastic place to stay!

Cute, clean little cabins, friendly staff and good basic food. Right on the highway. I would stay there again as a stopover on a road trip. The only drawback was that the beds are against the wall and if you’re the inside person it’s hard to get out without crawling over your partner.

We were in one of the cabins. There was a lot of road noise. Cabin was simple but adequate. Didn't realize it had a kitchenette. You could cook if you wanted to. The restaurant doesn't have a lot of choices but food was okay.

The cabin was perfect for our stay

We liked that the convenience store was on location. They also had kitchen utensils available in the cabins. It was also nice having our own space. Only a couple of downsides. While we were there they didn't have any TV available. Also the electric fireplace wasn't working. The internet was very spotty and we had to be close to the convenience store to get signal. Lastly, the shower was very small. Definitely meant for one person at a time.

Check in was very easy. Everyone was super friendly. Food was good and quick. No AC in the room but that was fine. Room was small and cozy. Never loud so it was super quiet. Really enjoyed the stay. Will be coming back.

We originally booked a room for 3 nights and loved it so much we stayed another night. Great price and love the staff. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Thanks Me and My son will definitely be back. Michelle and Tiberius

We enjoyed our stay at the Sourdough Lodge. The staff were great and the rooms were comfortable and clean.

The cabin was cute and had what we needed. It had a homy feel. It was what I call "first glance clean." The beds were clean, and we had clean towels and wash cloths. The cabin was a little toasty during the day. We brought a fan with us so it helped keep it cooler the ceiling fan was helpful but was too high tp help much. The dishes were clean but the coffee pot still had coffee, and grounds, and filter in it from the prior renter. The walls in the bedrooms could have used a dusting since the had clups of dust on them. But it wasn't enough to keep me from coming back. It is in a good location and the staff were friendly.

Room very clean but small and no AC. Walls thin could hear folks and tv next door. Ordered 2 meals in restaurant to go. I was standing by counter with view of kitchen. Cook worked 1 ticket at a time. 20 minutes before he started ours. 10 minutes later he pulled orders from frier and turned to set on kitchen counter while joking with waitress. Fry basket dropped on floor. Picked basket up and started to re cook about half the order. I canceled the order. Brought to attention of the guy at front desk. Shrugged his shoulders and said sorry and went to help other customers. Since this is only place in 20/30 miles we went to bed hungry after a day of driving. Reservations for 2 nights, but we left the next morning.

Wow! Such hospitality! We met the new owner and he was incredibly nice and gave a great impression. The cabin we stayed in was perfect it was the one queen one and we did bring our child which the cabin had plenty of space for her sleeping cot. We ate a couple of meals at the property restaurant which was convenient because this property is in the middle of the forest. We visited bonneville hot springs which was near by and awesome and we drove to red fish lake each day which was about a 45 min drive but a beautiful drive. Highly recommend this cute little place.
