It was great! Person at the front desk switched me from airstream (no bathroom) to hotel, then discussed the unique bed frames which are genius. I built my own the next weekend. Yay me!

It was a minimalist stay in an Airstream that answered all our needs after hiking & adventuring. The use of a hot tub was perfect. Bathrooms/showers were spotlessly clean w/ plenty of privacy.

The Amigo Motor Lodge is fun, creative, convenient, and comfortable! #1 - The beds are incredibly comfortable and uses nice sheets. The bottom sheet is actually a real fitted sheet. It's not one of those folded top sheets that come untucked as soon as you sit on it. #2 The cool retro red mini- refrigerator is fantastic. It holds a ton and it has a REAL FREEZER section with it's own separate door so you can re-freeze blue ice or other reusable ice packs. #3 You can park your car right in front of your room. All the rooms are on one level, no second floor. #4 It is very quiet. There was NO street noise and we were in room 17 which is closest to the street. No problem. #5 It is very creatively designed with fun thoughtful touches. #6 The staff was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. When I read other reviews stating that there was no coffee maker in the room, I called ahead and requested one if they had one and/or an electric kettle; they put both a Keurig coffee maker in the room for us (with 4 Keurig cups) and an electric kettle. Very impressive service. They DO plan to put coffee makers in ea room #7The room was large and plenty big enough for ski gear or other items needed for a mountain vacation. #8 It had some fun elements like a game room, outdoor fire pit, indoor sun room with a fire and a jacuzzi. We did not use these this time but hope to next time. #8 The Lodge is close to fantastic Restaurants. I'm out of space! But I could go on! It has real room KEYS!

The Amigo Lodge is a personal favorite. I never want to stay elsewhere in Salida. The staff is always SUPER awesome, the coffee's good and the room is cozy!

Perfect clean room for a great price! The motel is small and quiet. They have cute airstreams you can stay in too! Kate was at the front desk during our two-night stay and she was sooooo friendly! The entrance to the lobby has a cute indoor patio room with a table, games, swinging chairs, and a fire pit. Humorous decorations throughout, we'll stay here again for sure!

This establishment offers a delightful accommodation experience, characterized by amiable staff, well-appointed rooms, and invitingly comfortable beds. Its strategic proximity to the downtown area and other noteworthy local attractions enhances the overall appeal. However, it is worth noting that during my stay, an inconvenience arose due to the persistent slamming of doors by neighboring guests, continuing until the early hours of the morning, specifically until 3 am. While the overall experience was positive, the staff had no control over the noisy guest next door.

Second time staying here. The motel was bought by a corporate entity 2 years ago and removed the teepees out front. ( politically offensive) but still the same place.

We had really fun time staying in one of the air streamers. Nice decor inside and everywhere around the property, front desk stuff is super friendly, great coffee in the morning. Everything is thought out, modern, comfortable; shared bathroom is very clean. Would love to come back!

Loved it! An old motor lodge tastefully remodeled with hip, cute touches. It reminded us of motels in South Lake Tahoe where we’ve stayed. It’s very comfortable, clean, quiet and close to downtown Salida. Nothing fancy but perfect for our needs.

Great little spot. The airstream was perfect, had ac plenty of room. A nice porch to hang out on. My pup met other friends also. He had his own spot also Shared bathrooms really were full bathrooms had privacy. Never had to wait. Coffee in the morning. Would stay there again!

We stayed in one of the airstreams and LOVED it! Probably my favorite Motel that I've stayed at so far! Bathrooms for the airstream folks were spacious, modern and super clean. Front desk staff super friendly and lots of places to hang out and chill on the property. Only complaint would be the extremely limited offerings for the 'breakfast'.

No rating is high enough for this gem. They bent over backwards for us. I messed up the reservation 3 days before check-in. They fixed everything, even if we did need to move rooms 1 night. BUT, they had a cancellation and kept us in the same room while we were there. Hot Tub, was beautiful, closed patio we used, and built fires at night in their vented stove. Beds were beyond amazing and pillows! Wifi very good. Quiet! Shocked b/c next to the Hwy. I can't say enough about this place. Frills, but no frills, just down to earth and they are thinking about every thing they can for their quests. Nope, wasn't paid to write this, just so happy there are places like this left! Their sign even read "Everything is Figureoutable"

Person at desk helped clear up a mistake about the reservation and was friendly and helpful. On the outside looked like an old motel but the rooms were modern, clean and well furnished.

We started in Merle. The airstream was clean and cute. We will definitely stay again. We wish we'd arrived earlier so we could have made a fire in the lobby before it closed. The coffee in the morning was really tasty. A couple of tips: 1. There aren't bathrooms in the airstreams. It's not far but there are only two toilets and two showers, so plan ahead. 2. There are TVs in airstreams, but no television service, so they are unusable unless you have a streaming service.

The room was very charming. It has a great retro vibe. It was a great surprise to find an adorable retro fridge in the room and the room was very clean. Staff is very nice. Breakfast items are limited.
