For the prices we paid, the room was small. If we wanted to watch tv we would have to plug the mini refrigerator out by to plug in the tv. When we ask for the AC remote we were told it an extra $20 a night for AC. The shower had very low pressure and the shower head need to be clean.

Interesting and fun! Wayne got us organised with airport pickups and taxi from Sittee River (after an amazing week on Glover’s Reef Atoll).

Poor staff. They miss booked are rooms and we had to go to another hotel not on the beach. The staff misread the Orbitz confirmation and blamed guest. Then accused our group being rude. We ari Ed, went to eat, went to bed and left at 6:30 am or a tour. How did we have time to be rude?

Great stay: fast check in, a/c, hot shower and wi-fi. Good price. Close to the beach, however not so close to the main center. As I went by car, it was pretty perfect for me.

My husband and I checked in later than expected due to a flat tire on our friends rental car and the long drive. Finally arrived and was worried out room was already taken, but the hotel owner Wayne was there waiting on us. He was very nice and hospitable and also from Texas too. Room was nice and clean w/2 double beds and being so tired we slept great. But upon leaving our room for the day we read a sign on door to turn A/C off if gone more than an hour! Well I just went from a cold Texas to a Hot Belize and I needed that A/C when I got back to my room. Im very used to having A/C and like my room at least 72! Yes it was only February but it gets hot & muggy even by the beach. So we dealt with it.There were windows that could be open but it would come rain showers during the day and had to close the East windows facing the beach so no air getting in. Beds kinda hard and we only had sheets changed once in 8 nights, not much maid service just clean towels. Walls very thin so you could hear your neighbors and one night we did have some late night loud ones! But then again there was Wayne, he was so nice you just couldnt leave the place to go stay elsewhere. So I highly recommend that for you ladies out there that want a bit more comfort on a long stay in Hopkins to look a but further up the road to the resorts, But it is a perfect place to stay for men that are there fishing, diving and drinking or for a real short stay if youre tired! there was Wi-Fi tho!

Stay was good, owner very accommodating. Clean room. There was a hot water issue, which was fixed immediately. All and all, a good place to start from.
