This small boutique type property is a real gem located in the heart of Venice, close to the famous Rialto bridge on a very charming water way. It’s like something out of a movie with a very unique Venetian flare. I really felt like I was ported back in time. The staff are very hands on providing excellent service. You are treated like family and feel right at home. Staff are eager to help with a smile, very genuine. It’s obvious they all take pride in what they do. The property is very clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with lots of great options. I really loved the cappuccino & croissants. I look forward to returning to this gem of a property one day.

The Scalon del Doge was an amazing experience! Situated in a 600 year old building, the service was stellar, the rooms opulent, and the breakfasts plentiful and delicious. The staff helped us arrange taxis, outing agendas, and more. The perfect place to stay in Venice!

The hostess and owner was friendly and helpful with information about what to visit, restaurants recommendations and how to get around. The location is central and you can easily walk to the most popular tourist spots in Venice. 3 min walk to the Rialto Bridge & Vaporeto Boat Stop so you can get anywhere you want that way too. The room was a nice size, very clean, beautifully decorated and the AC worked very well. Good water pressure too. Breakfast is included: you give your preference the day before so they make sure to have what you would like on hand. You can choose from 2 breakfast times: 8:30 or 9:15. Contact them before booking if you have any questions; they are very responsive. This is a small boutique hotel with only 5 rooms, so it is very quiet,
