Pine Cottage Bed & Breakfast

We had a delightful stay and Pine Cottage. Claire made sure we had everything we needed and provided the most delicious breakfasts!

Very quaint and had an early 20th Century feel. We'd return in a heartbeat. Great experience.

Perfect fit for us! Our arrival was seamless- they picked up our luggage at the ferry for free, took it and stored it till check-in. They took it back to the ferry at checkout. At check-in they took it to our room. We were in the 3rd floor King corner room # 14 with private bath (claw foot tub/shower). The room was immaculate and the view spectacular! The bed and pillows very comfortable. Nice TV on wall and plenty of storage. There were quite a few stairs - but we are 70 and managed ok for the 3 days there. Pine Cottage is in the middle of everything and an easy walk to and from ferry and very easy to find. The dining room is very nice, and the breakfasts were to die for. I have dietary restrictions and they went out of their way to make sure I had toast and eggs since I can't have gluten or dairy! Porch rockers were nice, and we were able to get a taxi pickup right at our doorstep. The staff is amazing! The ladies who cared for our room went above and beyond, meeting our every need. In fact, they advised a better room choice for our return next year. The Cottage innkeepers were helpful with info and quick to help in any way! The 4PM cookies are a nice touch (says my husband) and there was always tea and coffee for me. There is a very quaint shady yard for guests use that comes complete with sweet Kitty. A lovely stay and cannot think of any way to improve! Came as a guest - left feeling like family.
