Amazing place to stay. Great service and rooms were spacious and clean. Decor was quaint and king bed was very comfortable. Would highly recommend and we will be back again.

I had a wonderful stay. They were pretty full when I booked so we had a corner room on 2nd floor over the pool balcony. Just wished I could of had a different room. Don't book room 214. The rest of stay was wonderful.

Like the Lakeview a lot - but for the price - it sure would be nice to have good coffee (I understand they have it until 7:30am? When we are on vacation? And maybe a treat? We found no place that wasn't packed for breakfast.

What a beautiful place to stay right in the middle of things on Mackinac Island. We loved the porches and the balconies with rockers on each floor. If you have kids along, the pool area looked like great fun for them. I only wish they had coffee and tea available for a longer time in the mornings and perhaps at high tea time in the afternoons. Overall, a wonderful visit and I will be back. The porter service from the ferries to the hotel was convenient but not always someone readily available to retrieve your bags when they were being held.

This hotel was perfect. It's right downtown and across the street from Shepler's Ferry. There is a restaurant/brewery attached to the hotel as well. It doesn't get any better than this.

What a pleasant place! The hotel was beautiful with the pool in the center and all the plants hanging from the balconies. Our room was spacious and the surroundings quiet as we were in the back. While not inexpensive, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Great location, and the Brewery on the main level an added benefit. Thanks for a great stay!

This was our second stay at Lake View. Last year our room and bathroom were small but comfortable and our window was on the main street, so we really enjoyed it and decided to come back this year. The lobby area is very nice too. This trip, we were on a side street, in a deluxe room, which was much bigger but super dated furnishings. The AC unit was right next to the bed and very loud, so i didnt sleep well. The bathroom...was not clean to my standards. The shower was very small and gross mildew/mold around the edges. This wasn’t seen until we were actually using it. Unfortunately, next time we visit the island for an overnight stay, we'll choose another hotel.

Our first room smelled musty and was very small. However, upon request, the manager moved us to a non smelling room that was bigger. There were children running on every floor of the hotel and almost knocked us down on the stairs. Must have been a school trip. They were very loud in the pool and we were on the fourth floor. The cable channels are very minimal and you cannot stream any of the streaming services. The bed was comfortable and the view was pretty. Close to shopping, nice porch with rocking chairs, and very close to the ferry. Staff was excellent and it was much quieter when the children left.

Very inflexible with room booking due to use of Hotels.com. Indoor pool was extremely loud with rowdy children until 9pm. Not a relaxing experience

There is a lot to see and do and the beauty in f the lake sure it along with the beautiful homes, hotels, buildings, etc. and the ambiance of the horse carriages makes this island very different and very special.

I would have given an excellent review if not for these 2 things. Coffee was only available in the lobby from 5:30 AM until 7:30 AM. The other issue is that my luggage was given to the Porter at 9:30 AM and should have been waiting in Mackinaw City when I returned from the Island at 11:45 AM. My luggage was not at the ferry service I had used. This caused me much anxiety while I was not getting any answers while trying to communicate with Lakeview. I was told that my luggage absolutey was taken to my ferry service. I was starting to believe it had been stolen. After over two hours, I was finally informed my luggage had mistakenly been taken to the other ferry service that I had not used. So I was once again inconvenienced and had to drive to get my luggage before finally being able to start my three hour drive back to my home. Other than this, my stay was extremely enjoyable. The room was very nice and also clean. The hotel is in a great location in town. The staff was friendly. Even with this unfortunate experience with the luggage mix up, I would stay at this hotel again.

Property is right across from the Ferry dock, super convenient and near everything in general. Staff is nice and friendly and the gentleman who handled our luggage from the ferry to hotel was super nice and friendly too.

Friendly front desk. Porters very courteous and prompt. Room very spacious and overlooked indoor pool. Attended by housecleaning daily. Good location to shopping. Only suggestion would be a small refrigerator and/or a microwave. Every meal out becomes pricey

Our stay was comfortable, clean, and spacious! Unfortunately, our room was right by the ferry exit and was pretty noisy in the morning. Other than that, everything was amazing and the location is super close to everything!
