Host was very nice and helpful. He was an all in one person trying to do to many things from front desk to shuttle service. Could really use another person to help with all the tasks. Breakfast was very good self serve. Good variety of foods. Rooms and amenities were nice. Will stay there again next time we get to Haines.

Get a room with a view and you will not be disappointed. The Captain's Choice is a comfortable stay in Haines with a fridge and coffee maker in the room, free breakfast and a free shuttle to and from the ferry terminal. They also rent cars so inquire about that if you're staying at the hotel already.
