I wanted a beach front resort. This is old school beach front. There are no chairs for you to bring to the beach. Bath towels were like sand paper. They can use a bit of updating like central air, better towels. Beach chairs (even if you charge for a rental) and patch the holes in the walls. Oh and match the blinds. Just seemed so trashy

Beautiful location. I knew it was an older property, but torn and stained towel and wash clothes are an easy thing to see and maintain. Wiring/electric upgrades needed. Many broken, missing outlet covers. Only 2 prong receptacles available. Wall air unit spewed unknown chunks of material on the kitchen floor. This place could've been a gem with some maintenence and upgrades. The location is convenient and lovely. It has some charming features such as ping pong, shuffle board, volleyball, 2 pools (1heated), and outdoor grilling area.

For $300 a night we could have done much better but it was spring break wknd. The cons, place needs a remodel, and new furniture the bed sunk in, the a/c is an old wall unit, bathroom was outdated and old. The pros, the 2 pools were nice and warm, they had 2 new grills, lots of areas for eating outside with umbrellas, and the best part was that it was beach front.

This is the worst place I stayed at and I’ve stayed in hotels across the world. The staff is useless. No respect of the quiet hours. The rooms are outdated and our bed was broken but they did nothing about it. Our room was not ready at 45 minutes past check in. Our watched bags were just left for anyone to take and no one around.

The hotel does NOT look like the photos on the site at all. The AC was broken, the cold water in the bathroom didn’t work. The shower had mold and the toilet had mold around it. The mirror had stuff all over it. The towels had stains and the bed comforter had stuff on it.

The Miramar Beach Resort is just a faded memory of what it used to be. It is very run down and DIRTY! So very sad because my family used to gather here once a year for many many memories!

This is a retro motel, very basic and vintage. We enjoyed the kitchenette. The location is excellent, right on the beach. They have 2 pools, one heated and we swam in January. We had a wonderful time.

Very dated property and in desperate need of some TLC and repairs. But, right on the beach and significantly less the neighboring hotels. Staff was super kind and helpful.

This was a bait and switch according to the room photos that are posted on the website. The room does not have an updated, clean look as the pictures indicate. Instead the outdated furniture is chipped, soiled, or rusty. The bathroom had mold and a leaking toilet which clearly had not been addressed based on the bottom of the wet, rusty vanity. I would not rate this experience as good as others have indicated on the website. It was not a pleasant place to rest and relax with chipped wall paint and painted wall nails. Dirty wall trim, a cracked microwave and dusty kitchen chairs and broken blinds. I would not recommend.

The situation is fantastic : beach is at only 1 minute walk, 2 pools and shops near the hotel. Room was small and quite old, curtains were broken, king bed was good for our kids but the sofa was not confortable at all.

I had booked this motel for a Christmas vacation on the beach, Dec. 23-Jan 1st, 2024. From the reviews and the photos on their website it appeared to be a fairly decent place to stay. After checking into my assigned room #33, I was very disappointed with the quality of the room. The only security feature on the door is a key pad door handle. Almost every metal object in the room was rusted. All of furniture was old and out dated. There was a clear window in the shower with no curtain that the neighboring hotel could look right in. The toilet was loose. The bath tub faucet was shot and the list goes on and on. I left the hotel with my personal belongings to go to a hotel in Kissimmee, FL for a large Christmas show for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. When I returned back to room, I was missing some small monetary items from my room. There was no signs of forced entry which leads me to believe that one of the employee accessed my room while I was gone and took my property. There are no surveillance cameras on the property that covers the guest rooms, so the suspect was never identified. I explained my concern to the front desk clerk and all he could do was tell me that he had worked there for a year and that this has never happened before. The front desk clerk said he would tell his boss and look at the one Ring Camera that points to the parking lot to see if that showed anything and then let me know. I was moved to room #28 and that was just as disgusting.

The two full beds were looking good and comfortable. The room was clean. The bathroom was rusty, one of the art was missing from wall above one of the bed, and the windows blinds part of it was broken. I hope they do some upgrade on the property. Great location.

Great little old school beach hotel! If you’re looking for a 5 star resort this might not be the place for you. But if your like my family and enjoy the beach front hotels that you can remember from your childhood this is the place! Everything might not be perfect but the room was clean and the showers were hot!

We booked online and it wasn’t very relaxing. Room 12 was dumpy and dirty. It’s a motel and it’s understood that’s it’s not a hotel chain but still could have been better looked after. We had a drunk that has been living there bothering us constantly. My adult daughter did not feel comfortable at all with him bothering her. We did not stay after the first night. I took my loss and went to Sirata and booked a room there so we could relax in peace and enjoy our holiday.

Miramar Beach Resort was a nice place to stay for my trip. Great view of the Gulf with easy beach access. Everything was ready when I arrived later in the evening. The staff was very friendly.

Property is older but provides all the basic amenities you need. We were disappointed that there was not a vendor with beach chairs and cabanas on the beach as in previous years, but this is not the fault of the resort. Overall this is a great place to stay for a basic room with a comfortable bed at a good price.

This hotel needs a renovation. Old, worn, outdated. No one was there to greet us. Office closed at 4:30. I know its on.the beach, but for the price in November on a Tuesday night, you expect more.

We have been going to Miramar for over 20 years. Even with the understanding that the Property with be torn down, we were disappointed in the level of housekeeping, GFI in bathroom did not work and the TV in the bedroom was inoperable

Room condition is deplorable. Broken light switches, broken furniture. Everything is rusted. I couldn’t dare to take a shower. Never again. The place needs to be demolished. Location is the only positive thing I can say

I could never get a hold of anyone when I called. The toilet was clogged when we got to our room and they couldn’t fix it and didn’t let us move rooms. There’s only 1 person working there and they left early and didn’t help.
