One could not find a better location; at the entrance to Peninsula Park! All workers were very friendly and I got a wonderful "good morning" each day from a staff member. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed.

We really liked that they had rooms for pets. They are decorated for pets also. It was really nice to be able to order food on the ipad in the room, you can check out with it also. It was close to all shopping and other places to eat. Will definately go back again.

The space was overall clean, but I wouldn't consider it to be relaxing. The layout of the rooms was sort of awkward. In the corner of the room there was a couch that looked like a love seat for 1 1/2 adults. The top of the couch was as high as the bed. I'm six feet tall and I had to squat to get out of the couch. Not good considering that I'd requested a first floor apartment due to bad knees. The bed felt like cardboard. It was hard to sleep there both nights due to the discomfort. They did offer to change the room for me after I raised an issue about it the first night. But they admitted that all of the mattresses came from the same source, so I decided it wasn't worth the hassle to change. Each room has a tablet that links to local information. I can see how that seemed like a good idea at the time. Theoretically, I could order food from a local place for pick-up. I tried that with one local cafe, but when I got to the cafe, they said they never received the order. I brought this to the attention of the hotel staff, and they said they aren't responsible for the websites of the links they provide. The tablet only has a limited number of restaurants and there are a lot more in the area than that. Guests are probably better off ignoring the tablet and relying on their own phones. Kudos for cleanliness. The staff are quite knowledgeable and seem to have good intentions. But between the bed and awkward furniture selection, I'd describe my stay as meh at best.

convenient location. right in the entrance to Peninsula state Park. Dining options across the street. walkable to the downtown area or a very short drive. Friendly, accommodating staff. clean up to date rooms. the only thing was the walls seem a little thin but I sleep with a noise machine anyway and still slept great. great value. would stay again!

Absolutely the best place to stay in Door County. The cleanest room I’ve ever stayed in. Ever. Nestled up against the Peninsula State Park, it has wonderful views. 10/10 would absolutely recommend

The room we were in had a lot of traffic and the stairs were aluminum(???) I could hear every person every time someone when up and down the stairs. So it was hard to get a good nights sleep. I definitely plan on returning, I’ll just be sure to ask for a room away from the stairs. The rooms were super clean and spacious. I’ve already booked our room for next year.

Julie’s never disappoints! We love staying at the hotel and enjoy having breakfast at Julie’s restaurant. We like to bike at Peninsula State Park, so we love the convenience of staying at Julie’s and having the entrance to the trail right there. We look forward to our next trip to Fish Creek and Julie’s.
