Amazing hotel! The pool, hot tub, and outdoor area were amazing. This hotel punches a couple levels above and was a great value for a family stay.

We stayed here as one of our night in our Florida roadtrip. Very close to the campus and botanical garden. The pool area it’s really good ( favorite part for the kids) the room was clean and comfortable for a family of five. Check in and check out was quick and easy, and the staff was very friendly and attentive.

This hotel met all the criteria of what I needed and wanted! The pool was huge and warm. The hot tub was big enough for the kids to play at one end and not bother us adults at the other end. I didn't get to sot by the outdoor fire pit but it was beautiful to see from my room. The room itself was very spacious and welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back!

Perfect location for an overnight when on a longer trip. Quiet with a beautiful outdoor seating area, large outdoor pool and basketball court. Close to restaurants of all price ranges. Easy access from the highway.

We typically stay at staybridge suites for our biannual visits to Gainesville and this was the first time we stayed at the Holiday inn and we will stay here from Now on. We were impressed with the roominess of the rooms and also the cleanliness of the room. The pool was clean and warmed even in November and the hot tub was perfect temp, not scalding hot. Everything was clean. I really enjoyed my recent stay and already booked for December return.

Came and stayed 3 nights, 4 days. Very clean property and grounds. Staff was friendly and helped with any questions, extra towels etc. Kids loved the pool and we loved the option of buying groceries at Walmart (5min walk) and using the grills to cook. Grills were clean. Breakfast had a large variety for meat eaters and vegetarians. Cereal, turkey sausage cinnamon rolls, pastries, Omelettes, boiled eggs, pancakes, juice coffee etc

Started out trying to stay at the Hyatt. There was no parking so had to find a place with the kids. This was clean friendly and had a parking lot. Perfect for a family on the go. Pool is amazing highly recommended for a quick stop. Breakfast was pretty good too.

Traveling through Florida.Made a reservation at Holiday Inn at I-75 in Gainsville and very glad I picked this hotel. Great service and professional staff. We had a very small glitch and the manager came and fixed it in record time. We booked a suite it was a spacious room, very clean and had a super comfortable bed.Good selection at the buffet breakfast plus coffee and tea available all day. Highly recommended.

Kitchen staff was rude except for the older short woman. The first few mornings there was a very miserable woman working there, and a tall gentleman that would always act like you were in his way when you were trying to navigate the dining area. The pancake machine worked like 3 days total out of the 13 nights we stayed. The trash was always overflowing. They were constantly out of either ketchup,syrup,juice,milk, etc. The pool restrooms did not appear to be cleaned once in the 13 days we stayed. They were disgusting. The actual room was very clean and the cleaners that we ran into were very nice. There were a few front desk people that were nice and helpful. The area surrounding the pool did not utilize the ambience while we stayed until the last night after I had emailed the GM. We stayed last year and this hotel was amazing, this year, not so much. The toilet had issues in the room, the door would not shut unless you slammed it shut, I'm sure we disturbed a lot of people on our stay because of the door. Last year, we witnessed a cleaning company cleaning all the windows multiple times, this year, not once. We asked for a pool view room when we got there, they could not accommodate this request, supposedly they didn't have any available because they were short cleaners. The parking lot is a truck stop so be aware of that. I explained my issues an was given 1,000 points. Thanks, that's like 5 whole bucks.
