We didn't realize the room is one of the many rooms in a house and the rest of the house is common area. We are grateful we had our own bathroom. The room is more like a hostel. We weren't expecting that.

The place is rooms in a fairly new house in a residential area.
Check in was awkward; he sent us text instructions for checking in; we were traveling and never checked for them. We didn’t know that checkin was being done via texting.
No hand rail on front steps.
Breakfast was minimal; coloured cereal or packets of oatmeal; instant coffee; no tea; milk and Sonny D, No bread.
There was a hair in the bathtub.

You can hear the road noise and the train. The other guests were up late talking which we could hear clear up to the second floor and were making noise all through the night, left lights on etc. You share a bathroom with 5 other rooms which is not stated on the listing. The room looked clean but the bathroom had hair all over the shower. The breakfast is 2 cereals. No fruit or toast or any other options. We would not stay here again.

A wonderful property conveniently located near the freeway, shopping, and UVU. My boys and I were blown away by the size of our room. I will definitely stay here again when in Orem. A perfect place for a family get together.

The pre-stay online process went very well.
The manager sent me a text about noon, asking me to send a pic of my driver's license.
I arrived later to check in, and then remembered the manager wasn’t on site.
Luckily, their handyman was working in the garage, and was able to help me get inside and set up.
It is a very nice and clean house with 3 rooms (mine had my own bathroom) and an extra bathroom off the hall up a flight of stairs and some dowstairs (another lady there said her entrance was around in the back).
Parking was kind of parallel in front of the 2 garages, on a slight incline (so I used my parking brake).
I was given the code to enter the front door, and a key for my bedroom door upstairs.
I entered into a very spacious and comfortable front room area.
A note inside asked us to please take off our shoes at the entry, and there was a bench to sit on, if needed.
There was a small kitchen area around the corner, which I just glanced at, before helping myself to a cookie on the counter. There was also a box of cereal on the counter with some paper bowls and silverware, plus a jar of peanut butter.
I didnt look in the fridge.
There was a sink we could use.
My room was upstairs; i was too tired to look for a hall light, and used my phone.
The bedroom was roomy with a double and a single bed in it. The bathroom was even
furnished with large bottles of soap & shampoo,; very homey. ❤️ It had central AC.

A new home. Hostel style with several lockoff bedrooms/bathrooms (second floor steep staircase) and a communal kitchen and living room. My wife and I (in our 70s) felt like college kids again.
The smallish TV gave us fits finding programming. Streaming apps fine, if one understands the hard-to-read remote.
Overall this was a great value. BTW, Orem and surrounds are beautiful!

I had this booked for one night April 2023 as a woman travelling alone. I went there the day before my reservation to see the area and how to enter this private home. You needed a key code to enter the front door, then walked through common space and needed another code to enter the room you rented. The owner could/would not let me enter the main door to inspect the property. I did not feel safe in this heavily trafficed commercial area and then was not sure about walking through common living space with other renters. It was not like walking into a hotel lobby because it was all enclosed indoors. The owner was very nice and said just to contact Expedia and tell them we would cancel the reservation with a full refund. I texted that information to them on their app and then got charged the full amount on my credit card. Upon following up with Expedia, they called the owner and he said he had no record of our conversation so Expedia did not issue the refund. Would NOT recommend this property for safety or honesty.

This property is a hostel and really doesn't belong as a listing on Expedia. The description said there was a kitchen, there is, but it's not usable. The owner asked me not to use the kitchen, the reason I booked this place was because it had a kitchen. There were more than ten other tenants using the kitchen. Why could I not use it? Who wants to be at a place full of a bunch of strangers. Don't come here.

It was very close to a Walmart and within minutes of a theatre. Didn’t like having to share a bathroom with the other guests but it worked out fine.

We went to the address and as the direction said to go up the stairs on the right and put the code into the pin pad. There was a fence and there were no stairs. The only pad was a garage door pad without “Schlage” on it, as the instruction said.
We checked the address and we were at the right place and it looked just like the photo on the listing. I texted the owner that we wouldn’t be staying there because we couldn’t find the place to enter.
There was no reply.

As two girls traveling alone, I will say it felt uncomfortable staying in a room with no real lock on our room door in a house occupied by miscellaneous strangers and no host or attendant. It would not be hard to install one of those metal flipover type locks. The only lock the door had was just the normal bedroom doorknob lock--the kind my 12-year-old boy picks for fun. Going to sleep was a little unnerving, but I don't see any other reviews mentioning that. So, I suppose it is not a big deal. Also, a hair dryer would have been nice. But for the price, we were very happy. Breakfast is only instant oatmeal or Mini-Wheats. But we like those. :) Walmart is like one minute away and I-15 is just up the street. BYU is a quick ten minutes. I would do it again if I had my husband with me.

The place is very nice, a good sized lining space, kitchen and dining area for ask guests, then individual private rooms. Ours had an ensuite bathroom - I don't believe that is true of all the rooms. It is well-maintained and clean. We had a very adequate queen bed. Another cover would have been helpful because all the rooms are regulated by one thermostat (I assume), and though the living area was comfortable, our room was on the chilly side. Would definitely recommend, even though the little personal touches that make a place feel homey were, for me, lacking.

The room we had was very nice and large as was the bathroom. The shower was about 5.5ft long so very spacious. The shower heads though made it impossible to shower without getting your hair wet and as there are no hair dryers that can be inconvenient. The continental breakfast which was self serve down in the kitchen, offered Cheerios,instant oatmeal, milk,cookies, orange drink and coffee.There was jam and peanut butter but no bread. The place is very convenient to the highway.

This is a home converted into room rentals. It is clean, well maintained and the bed was very comfortable. For new people like us, we did not know how to get in. It would be good to have a note on Expedia or wherever booking from to say please text just before arrival and a code and instructions will be provided. There is no front desk and no one to greet you. However, the price, location and accommodations were great.

We have stayed at this property twice before and had good experiences. This time, however, and without knowing, we were told the day of our stay that we would be sharing a bathroom with other guests. For us, as a senior couple, we knew that that was going to be really difficult for us. We asked the manager of the property if he could make arrangements so we could have our own bathroom. He didn’t even respond. After staying at the property, I messaged him and asked how we can confirm that we would have our own bathroom if we stayed at this property again. Once again, he didn’t respond. So I would say to anyone considering this property: Don’t be surprised if you end up getting something less than what you thought you were getting. Also be aware that the breakfast as advertised is only a meager selection of cold cereal .That’s it folks!

We didn't know in advance you will text as that info. We were traveling through the canyon and did not have internet in the moutains till we got over there and saw the nessage. Thanks

This was a great place to stay. Simple in it's offerings yet still a good value. Breakfast is simple offerings of cold or hot cereal. Check-in and out was all very easy. Communication with the manager was great. I was very much satisfied with my stay here.

Didn’t receive the room shown in the booking. Noisy street adjacent and freeway din in the background. Centralized a/c doesn’t work for everyone. Not cool enough for me at night. Obviously built for student housing.
