The room is quite small and spartan but the location and amenities make up for this. The hotel is in the middle of the old town. It is an 8 min walk to the Miyagawa morning market. There is a nice onsen on the premises and they offer free drinks and sake tasting every night in the lobby area. Lots of restaurants nearby serving hida beef. Highly recommend.

This hotel was absolutely fantastic. From the decoration in the lobby to the room.
But what makes this place even more special, is the people.
All the staff was very helpful and nice and attentive.
The room was very spacious and clean. And the beds quite comfortable.
This hotel is definitely a clear recommendation

Breakfast was traditional Japanese which we loved. Rooms very clean and very comfy beds. The free bar all evening was fantastic, especially as the town itself was very quiet once the restaurants shut. Location also great, would definitely stay again, thanks.
