The bar was well stocked, villa was great, the pools were a little small. The staff in all areas exceeded our expectations.

Firstly - this is a quiet resort. We were actually looking for that, so it checked boxes for us. It’s an adult only resort but we didn’t really see anyone under probably late 20s early 30s. You get to know other couples and realize when they leave.
There was limited music playing around the resort. They had a piano player a couple of nights at dinner and a steel drum band on the beach the day we left. One employee told me someone stole their speakers so they were waiting on more to arrive.
The food was either really really good or just meh. I highly suggest the lobster at Sir Robs. One thing that I noticed was there was really no consistency. The portions, how something was cooked, or how it came out was different. Not bad, but just different.
One major con I noted was they have sprinklers that go off at times and they smelled like absolute sewage. The groundskeeper told us not to touch it but one went off on me while I walked by… Wonderful.
Alcohol was always flowing but its really how you define “top shelf”.
Staff was pretty good - the first day multiple people complained and it seemed to get better after that.
The roads to get there were on par with other caribbean islands. Bumpy, slow, and slim.
