The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a great location with there being a short walk into the heart of the Pearl District. The hotel and our room were clean and well maintained. There’s a towel warmer in the large bathroom, which was a nice touch.
Bed comfort was ok. I think the mattress was a hybrid or inner spring which was a little bouncy and offered no movement isolation. Pillows were too fluffy for us as they were very high.
We got a queen city-view room which was nice, but an interior, off-the-street room would have been better as there is a lot of middle-of-the-night noise such as loud cars and street racers, random yelling, and other sounds. Of course, ear plugs or noise canceling headphones would help.
It was still excellent and offered great value, so I’m not really complaining, just making some observations for anyone thinking of staying here to consider.

I had a wonderful stay, the staff was amazing, very attentive and always ready to provide an excellent stay. The amenities first-rate, plenty of clean towels and anything you would need, the cafe has great coffee! The room was very clean and well stocked. Best sleep I’ve had in a while! The shower also was excellent - I would highly recommend a stay here at the Harlow - and due to travel delays I am back for my second night! The location is very good - only walking distance to Union Station, very accessible to a variety of good food with very quick delivery for take-out.

I was only in Portland for one night and stayed at the Harlow Hotel, but it was a great stay. Brendan at the front desk was incredibly helpful and had great recommendations for the area! I will 100% be back and stay here again.
