Cute little place, very convenient to downtown, darling neighborhood. Stayed in the River Room is was okay. A little musty smell. Hosts were very nice but I was told I would get a text with my code when check in was available to access the door...I did not, had to go to the front desk. I asked at check out for a receipt and was told I would get an email, two days later still have not :-( Sent a text, will call next.

Love the themed rooms. We stayed in the wildflower room. Cute as can be! My only recommendation would be to upgrade/improve the bed pillows

The room had a non-functioning refrigerator and they cheerfully gave me a pleasant upgraded room, #3. Side note, room 3 1/2 is quite small with twin beds, but nicely done. Pleasant owners.

We love the location and charm of this classic motel. The folks who run it are lovely people, too! Plus, it's very pet friendly. Our room came with a dog bowl, towel, biscuits and doggie bags, and there is a nice lawn in the center of the court. This was our second stay here, and we'll definitely stay there again!

The Outside Inn is a cool place right down the street from Nevada City. No need to drive as you can walk there in a few minutes

The owners are very sweet, helpful. I had to jump my car cause my battery died, the both came to the rescue and let me use their jumping cables . Thank you.

the parking is parallel & since I was checking after most others had, that was challenging. the room was charming but the mattress was way to soft.

I wish I could stay one more night at the hidden jem motel. It's tranquility conquered me. The only thing I can complain is that the bed is too soft for me.

The unit I stayed in was lovely. Small but lots of rooms and lots of room overall. I had a little kitchen and living room.The owners were super nice. I enjoyed talking to them while I was checking in.

Lovely vintage motel with lots of amenities. Clean, quiet beautifully remodeled. Bathroom is small but has many shelves for personal items. Shower was very good and towels were better than most high end motels. We loved the new full-sized coffee pot and good coffee. Hot chocolate also available. Owners were a delight.

We loved that it was a little motel where you park parallel to your room. No stairs! Soothing water fountain in the middle of the courtyard we were all facing! Great maps and info available about the area in the office!

Delightful place. For a small motel, manages to feel spacious and very natural. The little water feature is a nice touch. I liked that they didn't use single-use packaging for soap and shampoo, and their supply of coffee and tea was generous.

Loved this little unique property. It is older but clean and well maintained. The towels were super soft, and there were a lot of nice touches to make the stay more like home. We will be back to stay again for sure.

Super friendlt and helpful staff. No contact check in was great! Condition issue with a piece of furniture that the front office was all over it. Easy stroll to downtown. Well stocked in-room coffee service. Will definitely return when we are back in the area.

They make so much out of this property! Love the theme rooms and the beautiful areas outside to hang out with other guests! Super fun and amenities are excellent from television with cable, to refrigerator in the room, to coffee maker with great selections. It was perfect and we plan to return again! Oh and location rocks! Everything is walkable.

I so enjoyed the charm of this older motel. They have done such a great job of updating the rooms with different themes. Ours was delightful. It's a quiet, safe area and just a short walk to downtown. My only negative comment is the loud sound of the heater during the night. I should have risked being cold by turning it off.

Sarah the attendant was amazing and very accommodating. 10/10 would recommend staying in this quaint motel if you're visiting Nevada city. Water pressure was stellar.
