After a long long drive we opted to stay in Temple, Texas. We booked our room about an hour before we stopped via Hotels.com. to clarify it was done with zero research of reviews. Turning 1:00 am and sleepy we checked in and made our way to the room. We were greeted by a mass amount of ROACHES as we opened the door and turned on a light. As they scattered we put our luggage back in the Car. It was soon discovered that the beds were hairy like someone had a fresh hair cut in both beds and let their dogs shed all over the pillow cases. The phone table was covered in some sort of liquid that I could only hope was roach spray bomb juice. The Hand Sink was filthy and not been wiped down. The bathroom door would not close. It was coming apart and the door would not move unless picked up. The electricity kept throwing at the ground fault interrupter. The only good thing was the AC got cold.

From check in to check out I felt like an inconvenience. The bed was hard as a rock. You could see day light through the outside door. It had and awful smell that kept coming back even after we sprayed lysol. No amenities whatsoever. Had to have maintenance come to fix the TV.

It was a nice Motel 6. There are remodeling projects going so in certain areas of the hotel, it’s messy. Which is expected.

Me and my college son stayed here for a night. It was clean enough for us and could tell it had been remodeled not long ago. But half the property seemed to be longer term occupants and a bit more seedier. Not exactly a place I'd choose to stay with my wife and younger kids.

This hotel caters to people who have Social Security insurance and disability insurance so there are a number of people who live here it is well-kept, clean, and fairly quiet. It allows dogs and there is a dog park there as well as an upstairs near to the office and a downstairs where you have to take some steep stairs or go down a larger ramp to reach the downstairs. The hotel is fine if there are no coffee makers in the room and they do not provide coffee in the morning so this was my primary complaint for $60 a night you can’t be too picky. However, if you like to drink coffee in the morning and you don’t want to drive , He would not want to stay at this hotel because it is isolated and there is nothing close to it where you can walk to get coffee or to eat. The people were friendly and they were very helpful in general and I would recommend it if you wanted to save money and you wanted to stay in a safe clean place.

A great price for the convenience and product offered. Only snots would disapprove (Texas Roadhouse is next door as well as a Convenience Store). In particular, the cleaning staff tries hard to keep the old place tidy.

THIS PROPERTY SHOULD IN NO WAY BE OPEN FOR BUSINESS. THE ROOMS HAVE MUCH WORK TO BE DONE. THE LINEN IS JUST ABOUT BLACK TOWELS. NOT TO MENTION AS IVE ATTEMPTED TO SLEEP I ITCH ALL OVER. AND ONLY 1 LIGHT WORKS.WILL NEVER RECOMMEND BUT YET TRASH TALK ABOUT THE DISGUST. PICTURES TAKEN

I should have known better then to book a smoking room but it was the last room available. The tub, blanket, everything had burn holes or marks. The light cover was missing and something was what I hoped was covered but looked more like a bag full or crap stuck to the wall. Needless to say I said nope and checked out within an hour and a half of being there. Oh my dogs spilt water and when I cleaned it up the was rag was covered in dirt as if the floor hadn’t been mopped in forever

Had to wait over 15 minutes to check in due to no one being at the desk. No shampoo or coffee in the room. No tissues in the room. Cable channels were lame.

Bed sheets had bodily fluid dirty sheet, hairs on pillowcase, cup ring markings on counter that was not cleaned, dirty towels refolded and hung up. When informing employee at desk in morning that I slept horribly ( because it was late and I was too tired to report it immediately so I slept at top of bed crossways with my head on my bag and covered up with my shirt.), Because of the dirty sheets and attempted to show him photos of how dirty the room was when I got in it; that employee told me it's too late to do anything now. I said the rooms should be cleaned before someone gets one to stay in. He said it's too late and told me to go stay somewhere for $100 or $500 then.

Sheets had stains, one pillow didn’t have a pillowcase and had hairs on it, bathtub old with stains, area noisy but was clean. Took host me calling to get attention. Cheap and at least no bed bugs.

Nothing was cleaned out wiped down. Hair was all over the bathroom, toilet and sink area. Sheets and blankets were not clean but were changed for us. Floors and nightstand were sticky. W have stayed a few times in the past but after this trip we probably won't be back

First got there " Bill" checked me in. Received key card for room, went to room to unload belongings. Washed face, shaved then wanted to take a shower, no water, checked sink where I had just shaved no water....called from desk, spoke with " Bill", he stated they turned the water off would be back on in 20 minutes. 30 minutes later water was still not working....just had enough, quarter inch gap under tue room door, couod literally see the trees, laminate floor, dark, very gritty, very dingy. No place to hang my clothes, no drawers for personal belongings. Just a really bad experience, no shampoo for hair, mo water at all after shaving my face no idea how long it was off Extremely disappointed, really bad experience......water would have been nice, very necessary....Ill never go back. When leaving the office person "Bill" asked where I was going, I expressed no water, need water cant stay....was in town on business. I would highly recommend the Days Inn Wydam. Rooms were clran, carpeted, place to hang your clothes, chester drawers for other clothes, etc, etc.... Motel 6 in Temple will never get my business. Now Ill have to call my credit csrd people and get the charges reversed.....

I didnot like the room half done remodel. Epoded wires on vanity light . Broken towel rack lots of highway noise sink was looseall in all I know it was Motel studio 6 but very disapointing

Floors were terribly dirty. Only one bath towel. Smelled like smoke (lightly)(non-smoking room). I stay in motel 6 all of the time and I rarely have any issues. The walkways were packed with trash in boxes, old mattresses and bags of garbage.
