Gorgeous boutique hotel in Miami Beach. It was a 9-min walk to the Beach and resort few included access to beach towels and beach chairs. At night it can be a little loud just because of the location, but that was fine with me. The rooms are lovely and well-appointed, but small. Rooftop pool is lovely but very small. My one big gripe is that the gym is offsite - they share access with a gym about 3 blocks away. But I would definitely stay here again. Service was fantastic and location was great. Overall a great value

The staff was super nice and the hotel is well located, close to the beach and restaurants.
The rooms are really small and not well illuminated, which makes hard to stay in the room for a long time. I had to use my phone’s flashlight multiple times while looking for things since the lamps were barely shedding any light.
We stayed on the annex of the hotel and had zero issues with noise from the street. But be mindful, the walls are paper thin so you’ll listen to your neighbors.

Nice location and service. $45 resort fee for very little benefit.

Lisa at check as amazing. She got us into a room 2+hrs early and was very friendly and accommodating.
Room and pool are small but location is perfect.

They charge $49/day for valet (require) parking and I suspect they are just taking the cars to a public garage down the street and pocketing the rest.
They take 20 min to get the car and the creepy valets just stare at girls/guests.
Rooms are very very tiny.
Aesthetic is nice.

Very charming hotel. Fantastic staff. Great location with a pedestrian street right outside the hotel with restaurants and shops. We loved our stay!

Front desk help, Delisa, was so helpful! I had called to confirm a week earlier and she was so helpful and kind. Will definitely return.

Beautiful hotel in a prime location with warm and wonderful staff. The included breakfast was delicious and the vibes in every area of the space felt European and sleek. The rooftop and pool are perfect for relaxation - not a party atmosphere. One note is that the rooms are smaller than they appear in photos - not unusual for South Beach but something to be mindful of. Highly recommend.

Forceful door staff insisted on taking our bags when we didn’t want them too. Extra “resort fee” which is charged per night and not in line with any actual Miami Beach legislation. You can hear the noisy bars from your room. Has a lot of potential to be good and if you didn’t care about getting ripped off, but wanted to be in a good location - this is your place!

Cool place/ concept of 3 renovated historic blgs with excellent service and food. Cool rooftop bar scene with tiny pool. However, the last building is across the street and had a serious lack of security! There was no desk or lobby personnel - no lock or key entry to the building - no key needed to operate the elevator, so virtually anyone could enter underected day or night. They need to do better with this important issue. Also the darkest hotel room I've ever stayed in, making an otherwise ok small room seem even smaller and dreary. Probably wouldn't stay gain for these reasons.

Horrible customer service

Hotel is charging double on breakfast, addibg fees to your bill without approval. Location is convinient.
Rooms very noisy.
Lack of management.

Esme hotel location is perfect if you want to be in walking distance to south beach and española way. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area. Rooms are small, just enough to put the bed and one cabinet. Lighting is more designed for couples, very dimmed. If you want a well lit and spacious hotel room, this isn’t for you.

The check-in front desk receptionist was rude then overly friendly which came off as incredibly disingenuous. This was not an ideal first impression for the hotel. We had a great interaction with the bellman Vinny who took care of us when our room was not ready. It is a very charming boutique hotel located in a more touristy area. We did not mind the touristy aspect as we were put in the back Building D which was quieter than the rest of the hotel. It was centrally located allowing us to walk everywhere we wanted to go in the South Beach area. The resort fee is a bit high considering what you get if you cannot use the beach chairs. If you are able to use the beach chairs then the resort fee is fair given the pricing of $21US per chair per day. Overall the hotel offers a great intermediate option if you want a nicer hotel than the dive hotels in the South Beach area and not the very high end beachfront hotels.

The Esmé was a very unique boutique hotel in South Beach. We really enjoyed our stay. There were so many different dining options around the hotel which made it a great choice. Would gladly stay there again. The individual rooms were very unique.

Wonderful staff and the setting is incredible. We loved the upper rooftop, walkability to the beach and restaurants. The staff were wonderful, Andre in particular was a pleasure to be around! Thanks for a special 40th birthday stay.

Loved the Esme Hotel. Staff was wonderful and its in a great location. Espanola Way has the best restaurants. Food was amazing.
The rooms are a little small but beautifully and freshly decorated. Need hooks in the bathroom for towels, etc.!
We noticed some tiny ants in the bathroom and shelves!

Excellent location. Only a few minutes walk to the beach with numerous dining and entertainment options all around. Hotel has a lot of character to it and feels more boutique.

Close to lots of good local restaurants, and short walk to the beach. Our room (Deluxe Double) was clean and well designed, but not large and didn't have a desk or chair. There were chairs and tables in the courtyard. Charming old fashioned hotel, nicely updated.

Thank you for a very seamless checkin process; Sonya and Delicia, my concierges, have great energy. They helped me to checkin earlier than planned and built excellent rapport with me. Next Scenes PADF tivole!

Pros: fantastic location near shops/bars/restaurants and beach, convenient and safe. Short walk to beach with chairs and towels. Pretty roof with pool and restaurant/bar. Well decorated. No parties heard at night despite vibrant street
Cons: separate building down the block for the less expensive rooms. Was told it would be $60 extra a night to get the same room in the main building that has the amenities. Everything needed a deep clean and fresh coat of paint. Could hear everything from hall, mostly heard doors slamming from inside room except for the Sunday morning they decided to hammer and drill one room down before 8am, definitely could’ve waited until a more reasonable time

The place uses 30 watt bulbs.
It is uncomfortably dark at night and there is no cure available.
I do not recommend staying here unless you bring your own lightbulbs.

Lovely looking hotel and super friendly staff. Room lacked sound insulation so I could hear doors opening and shutting in the corridor. Gym is only available for one visit then you have to pay for extra trips. I was also charged extra for a daily resort fee.

Great front desk people Delisa and Trinidad.. Room was in a back building. Fan and fan light came on and and off at random times. I was right next to the housekeeping closet and it was constantly noisy with the door slamming consistently early in the morning. There is some system that sounds like a race car starting up and running near the room. Barley got any sleep. Walk in shower is designed so water puts out under the sink and the flood needs to be cleaned up after every shower. Be carful when you shut the light switch off because it connected to the phone chargers on the nightstands. You'll wake up with a dead phone. Fantastic location and small but clean room.

Hidden Gem in Miami! The hotel is a true jewel box, and the staff are incredibly friendly. My overall experience was fantastic. I highly recommend it.

The room was very very small. Could barely pass the bed to the bathroom. Besides the size of the room it was 5 stars but just so small.

This is truly a boutique hotel! Beautiful infrastructure and details throughout. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooftop restaurant has excellent food and service. We will definitely go back!

We had a great time at the Esmé hotel. I must say that Trinni at the front desk was great! She was extremely kind & helpful. Overall…the staff was incredible. They try their best to make you feel at home

The location is great - in the middle of everything, but a quiet get-away. We were a bit disappointed because of the size of our room (the second room we booked was fine), but the hotel manger showed us her apologies. The rooftop pool and beach access are very nice. Would definetly recommend for a short stay in great Miami Beach!

This property is absolutely fantastic. The only slight draw back is the rooms are incredibly small. More like European rooms. Other than that, I recommend this place.

Excellent location, front desk people very nice, property clean
Stayed two weeks, first week excellent room service, well supplied. Second week for unknown reason room service horrible, had to ask pretty much for everything ?????
Did not like very small room despite payed for large room upgrade…..
overall good place to stay but one time only

Unpleasant checkin checkout. Treated like a suspect, asked for my ID constantly even when checking out, multiple holds put throughout my stay on my card beyond just basic incidental fees. Was given incorrect information about what floor my room was on, and was not given information about all the many on-site dining experiences, which I overheard other guests receiving so perhaps different people receive different treatment. Housekeeping removed toilet paper daily, I had to keep requesting they replace it. Unsightly yellow stains all over room rug, please steam clean it, disgusting. Room was so small, you can’t open your suitcase and wardrobe at the same time. Evening concierge was more pleasant. Rooftop dining staff provided friendly and professional service with decent food and bev, design was lovely, pool and beach access was great, and location and neighborhood was very convenient.

The hotel shoud not be rated as a 4* hotel because the room is small and the qualify of the facilities and funiture are low. It can not be a 4* hotel.

Unfortunately the average hotel was demoted to the realms of horrendous by some unfortunate events that were handled by quite simply the most dire staff I think I’ve encountered. The Esme treat their guests with contempt and that undermines any efforts they make to make this hotels one of the betters ones in Miami. Best avoided.

Amazing customer service, beautiful hotel, and great location. Would absolutely stay again.

We loved our stay here, we wish we could of stayed longer! We were only here for one night so we didn't really explore much but the room and bathroom were super nice! We loved the green tile and the bed was very comfortable! The staff was super helpful, I accidentally left my phone on the bed when we were checking out and they helped me get it back very quickly. We would love to stay here again when we visit South Beach.
