My stay was ok. Check in / out times could be better. Check in is at 6pm and check out is at 10am. If you are only staying one day you have limited to no time to experience the activities and the facility. Because of that this stay was the least memorable of our week long trip to Colorado. Room was simple and clean, but it was not what I reserved. I booked a family room with a balcony, two queen beds and a couch but we were given a simple room with two queen beds.

The YMCA is a very nice facility. It has so many great activities to choose from year round and the grounds and buildings are very nice. We have a family of six, so our room was a little cramped. Next time I would choose a room with the little bit of extra space and mini fridge, verses the bare bones just beds and bathroom room. I would definitely stay there again though. Our shower was clogged and when we told them about it, they sent someone right away to fix it!

There was so much to do, and we had a ton of fun staying for a long weekend.
The room was clean and quiet. (Besides or kiddo). There is no TV in the room which was fine with us. We brought a laptop to watch a show or two.
We ended up being in a huge lodge with only one other room being used. I just kept hoping the other guests were on the other side. Mostly because the walls did seem thin, and we didn't want them to be disturbed.
Overall we had a good stay and plan to stay again.

Needs some upgrades in the rooms needs new updated toilets never stayed at a place where there was no tvs the view was awesome close to park and town if I stayed there again would look at renting the cabins instead of hotel rooms

Great stay for our family of five. We will come in summer again!

I loved the facility and how it is tucked away in the middle of the mountains. There are so many activities one can do at the facility that there is no need to leave. I love how family friendly it is! The food was not that great but everything else was! We are planning our next trip soon!

Really beautiful place around to walk and hike. Rooms need some attention need more maintenance and some better beds and sofas ( to old furniture ).

Close to the national park. Close to shopping area. Beautiful. Activities for kids.

Think hostel, not hotel. Which is fine, if you know what to expect.

Amenities are basic, but I was not there to spend time in my room, there only to sleep.

The staff was wonderful. Room was cold, even when turning up the heat. There was waiting on the mirror that was never cleaned and the bed was an old box spring mattress that should have been replaced years ago.

The Y is an amazing property any time of year with varying amenities and activities to suit all seasons. The beauty of Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park is a few minutes drive away or simply hike into the park from the Y campus- just honor the park pass payment system online as you will not be going through a formal gated entry. If you are looking for quiet, be sure to ask what large groups may be attending and request a less busy accommodation if available.

It was a little difficult to be put into dorms with no access to food or drinks

Tub didn't drain. Horseback people wouldn't return calls, so we didn't get to go horseback riding.

Providing guests with their own elk herd was spectacular. Room was way too hot - 78 degrees in Oct - thermostat did not work/couldn't be turned off - window could not be opened.

The view was amazing, the Elk in the morning were amazing. The room was pretty average but worked for the night. Pretty outdated and our chargers kept falling out of the outlets. Other than that, it was decent for the price.

Keep in mind when booking here. There is no air conditioning or television in the rooms. The lighting in the room needs to be improved but the area is great. Fun things to do for all ages. The wildlife that just hangs around the property is amazing

The area itself is beautiful and has a great family feel, but the room we were given was very dirty, had hot cheeto crumbs in one bed, sunflower seeds under a bed, hairs in multiple beds, and urine on the back of the toilet seat, among other things. We came in late with plans to leave early so didn't change the room, but we won't be back unfortunately

The only thing I missed was a microwave in our room or main entrance of our room. Everything else was great.

All soap dispensers were empty in the lodge room.

Everything was fantastic. The environment was family oriented and appropriate behavior was visible. The facilities were very clean and well maintained with no issues. The scenery was fantastic and the elk on premise was delightful.

I love the beauty of the property, being near Rocky Mountain national Park, and the purpose of the camp.
We sure wish the food could be a little higher quality.

My room cold had 2 bunk bed and a queen (7 people). Great for a Family

The 6pm check-in is frustrating. Room was lacking plugs and the plugs available were too loose to hold my charger. The building was lacking an ice machine and coffee items. Bed was comfortable and clean but room really needed an upgrade.

Excellent location with beautiful mountain views in all directions. If you are a hiker, you can get in to RMNP from the trails on the property, over by Emerald Mountain (obligatory reminder that you should buy a park pass online priorto doing so....although no one will be there to check it....). We upgraded to a double queen room in the Long's Peak building, part of the central lodge. We initially booked a double bunk and queen room in the Rainbow building since it was cheaper, but switched after realizing they're was no mini fridge. The rooms with bunks ate great for kids/teens, but not comfortable for adults. Pay a little extra for the central l8dge and you will be much more comfortable. Staff were all nice, property clean and safe, plenty of parking. No tv in our room which was totally fine since we were out hiking every day. Big gas fireplaces in the lobby along with microwaves, puzzles, coffee refill packets. No plastic utensils though, so if you plan to stock your mini fridge with groceries or leftovers from a restaurant, be sure to bring utensils. Lots if activities to do here and great for kids/ families. You will not find a better view of the park.

Loved this place. We came during the elks' rut season and the park was very busy with people parked all along the main road exit watching them and we got better views of them on ymca land. While people were in line fighting thru traffic lights to get to Estes Park proper, we took a right and were home in 5 minutes and Same in the morning. Staff was incredibly friendly and most seemed genuinely kind. The room we rented was kind of bare bones but was kept up well and everything worked. There was filtered water we could fill camelbaks and gallons of water with. Views were very nice around the property as well though I admit it could be better or worse depending on where you end up. It's more of a complex than a hotel.. Tons of activities for kids and families. Negatives were the walls in our room were quite thin and I could hear my own and other kids trouncing around or screaming down the hall when I'd step out.. And the shower seemed incredibly slippery. I'd recommend a 5 dollar bath mat you don't mind throwing out when you leave, I would have loved to have one.
All in all though we were incredibly pleased with this place and would like to bring the kids back when they're a little older for more of the park and maybe a couple of days on site to do some of the activities they have there.. Definitely can make this place a destination depending on what your kids are in to

Really cool place. Lots of activities. Elk roaming. However the pool was randomly closed the one day we where there. We had ledt the park early so the kids could swim...very disappointing..

Carpet in building and room was filthy. Soap in shower was empty. Check in staff was very rude to me.
