I’m writing to provide feedback in my recent stay at Residence Inn by Marriott. Unfortunately my experience did not meet the expectations I had based on the Marriott’s reputation. The staff at the front desk specifically Miguel were unresponsive and unhelpful. My daughter left the hotel with an allergic reaction after eating almond milk for breakfast at the hotel. In addition, my husband received an urgent call from work, so I personally asked for a one night credit refund since we reserved our room for two nights. My request was completely ignored by the hotel with a lack of empathy and understanding. The representative at the front desk laughed at me and asked me if I had signed up for the Rewards program. I left the hotel directly to the emergency care facility and from there they called the ambulance to take my daughter to the near hospital. I hope that you will take my feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements. Very disappointed!

The room is beautifully appointed and huge. The hotel offers free breakfast, wifi, shuttles to 2 malls and the airport offerring an enormous value. You could easily walk to the international Miami Mall, but we took the shuttle. Doordash delivery drivers can easily deliver to your room. The items for sale in the lobby area are reasonably priced for a hotel, beers are around $5/$6 bucks each.

The property is beautiful, entrance to lobby is underwhelming. My biggest issue is that the free shuttle stopped at 5pm on Saturday and we had to take a taxi that cost $40. There is no info on the shuttle on the website.

Everything was clean, but there was no hot water to shower and the pull out couch mattress was very thin, squeaky. The hot water issue is disappointing given the price of the stay.

Pool not heated. Asked for an extra pillow, front desk said they get 2 extra per night and gave them out already. Said he would call me back, never did. Bathroom door didnt close. Breakfast chaos

This is a newer hotel with a modern design. Rooms are clean, quiet, spacious and well equipped. We stayed 7 nights and were very comfortable. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We had to ask for towels every time we used the pool but they were always quick to bring them out. Good breakfast selection and lots of seating in dining area. Great location close to shopping, restaurants and highway. Had to use the ice machine on a different floor as the one on our floor didn’t work. We let them know at the front desk but it still didn’t work by the time we left. Other than that, everything was great and would stay again.

Excellent clean hotel located in a beautiful Doral area. The room was spacious and comfortable for a five night stay. The breakfast was descent, but the lady in the breakfast area could have been nicer. Will stay again.

Room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly. Gluten free bread and other veg options for breakfast which we have sort of come to expect from a Residence Inn branded property was a plus. Hotel staff even extended our check out by about an hour and a half due to an unplanned urgent care visit...Would definitely recommend

We loved our stay. Just wish we could have stayed longer. The room was so large and comfortable. There was 6 of us. Our two boys, 12 and 9 were comfortable sleeping on the pullout couch. We will have to stay here again when visiting the area.

Very nice property, new and updated, nice kitchen in room. No ice buckets and when we went to ask for one the front desk guy had a note up saying hed be back. But other than that. This is a very nice place.

We never made it to breakfast because it ends so early. The second day housekeeping never came and we were left with smelly garbage overnight. Otherwise its a decent and clean hotel

I recently stayed at this hotel with my family, and it was a great experience. The installations were impressively clean and new, and our suite was spacious, perfect for a couple with two kids. The added bonus of a well-equipped kitchen was handy for cooking during our trip. The staff was exceptionally friendly and always ready to assist. The breakfast, while not extensive in options, was tasty. The hotel's prime location, right at the edge of the Miami International Mall parking lot, made it very convenient for shopping and exploring the area. Overall, a fantastic choice for a family stay.
