Only thing the place had going for it was location. Room was dirty. Family next door had cockroaches. Only had a half a roll of toilet paper, asked for more and they left for the day never giving us any. Had to resort to going to get some from the local bar. Also waited hours for clean towels and were told we shouldn’t need fresh ones everyday. Will never stay there again.

My stay @ Tropical Ilse was very comfy. I was right at the beach boardwalk & nearby shops. Property was clean. No bugs. The kitchen was supplied with cookware & glasses. Also the staff was friendly & catered to my needs. Beach towels provided & private parking was a plus. This will be my go to spot only for future trips. I really like this location

I knew that this hotel was an older property. I was not expecting the Hilton. The kitchen was great.The bed was comfortable and the bathroom although older was fine for me. The shower had great pressure. I had plenty of hot water. The air conditioning worked great. On top of it all, was the perfect location for me! I can’t wait to get back to Hollywood Beach!

You seriously can't beat it for the price. Its not fancy, but you aren't paying for fancy. Its clean, super close to the beach (second row, you can see the hotel from the beach). Small kitchen with the basics. Only a few units, quiet, but also very close to the best restaurants. We were able to check in early. Owner is nice guy, very responsive, got us anything we needed, gave us chairs and a beach towel for the beach.

You can bring your bikes and rollerblades and ride the whole boardwalk
Manager was amazing he was very helpful and nice

Price was a bargain compared to other places nearby
Beds were comfortable ac was cold bathroom was clean
Kitchen with stove plates etc and a refrigerator so no need for a cooler with ice
We are already planning on coming back to stay for a week
We were all sad to leave

Tropic Isle is PERFECT for my style of traveling. I travel alone and just need a place to shower and sleep because I leave for the beach all day. Will was my contact and he is great. Friendly. Happy. Good communicator. The price of the room was right too. Affordable and perfect location. It was a 40 second walk to the beach. I will definitely be staying here again.

Nice place, very clean and comfortable. Missing extra pillows, hair dryer and some kitchen utensils, but the owner was very friendly and the area the perfect vacation spot.

I had a wonderful time staying at this property. It is located near the beach and Hollywood Boardwalk with lots of restaurants, entertainment options, and other attractions.
The owner was very friendly and helpful, and made sure that everything was perfect for my stay. The property was clean and well maintained, and had all the amenities I needed.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant and memorable vacation at an afordable price.

The thing didnt like was that person in check in took a photo of my credit card and drivers license to collect the money for the parking fee. I called my bank and they said, it was illegal to do that so they had to cancel my credit card at that time. He took thesevwith his phone.

Amazing for short stays, a little small but perfectly located steps to beach, bars and restaurants. Close to airport and cruise port.

It was a great, the room was pretty big, right at the beach, great location for restaurants, walking, bars, beach… the room needs some maintenance, the door between the leaving room and bedroom was broken.

They canceled my reservation. Per the Expedia reservation I was going to pay on arrival. The desk said because the room wasn’t paid for in advance they Canceled our Reservation!

Very close to the beach without the noise. Will and staff were most accommodating. Clean quiet and comfortable. We will be coming back.

It was amazing staying right next to the beach. The property was Amazing and the room was very clean and relaxing like a BnB..totally worth going back there again.

Bedbugs! And the biggest bedbug is the manager, little old guy. He greets you in a friendly way, until you hit an issue. Then he is nowhere to be found, not answering phone. Don't wanna go into details. But when it comes to refund - forget about it! Also, very very rude and simply stupid

This hotel had a unique vintage feel. The inside was upgraded and the tiny kitchen was great. The closeness to the beach was fantastic.
Property manager was very friendly. I would recommend this place.

The property is in a great location and the manager is nice. Now as far as the apartment: the mattress feels like it is decades old and left me with back pain and the ac unit is really loud and it is hard to sleep with the noise. This property has potential, but they need to invest in upgrades.

Perfect location just steps from the beach and Hollywood Broadwalk. The room was clean and spacious and I got a pretty good rate for the Family Room. The Manager Will was very friendly and nice. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

First of all we got kicked out for being too sandy at a hotel on a beach. Second of all the housekeepers stole my cash and wouldn’t give back the stuff I left in a drawer :) still waiting for my refund good luck y’all
