Friends reserved a RV space and we reserved a Jupe. The space was clean, the bed warm & comfy, the location was well lit, and what an experience to open the jupe in the morning with a beautiful ocean view! I only wish they had provided the more high end outhouses, rather than the standard construction site type😖

Unfortunately we were under impression we were staying in cottage but arrived to a yupe tent. We didnt come prepared. We had no towels. Had to 7 miles to CVS. We were told this was a hotel.com miscimmunication. Please get this straight for future guests. The campground was beautiful.

This is our first time staying in Avila Beach flying flags. The location was amazing and the view was superb. The only complaint we had is that the kitchenette seemed useless with no microwave or heating devices and that even though we put our request for more coffee and other items on our gate as directed, we never received them. Also depending on what type of bed you like these beds are very hard. In our opinion. Also, there is a window directly by the side of your bed that is beneath a street light that stays on all night long so that was a little hard to sleep with. If we were to come back, we would probably want to bring a trailer to camp here instead.The cabins in our opinion were not worth the price.

The patio was full of spiders and cobwebs, I paid for an ocean view but it was only visible from the patio or from the the corner of the room…I toilet kept malfunctioning, it continued running after flushing…the patio slider did not lock.

We stayed in a cottage. The view was amazing. We really enjoyed the private patio with the fire pit and comfortable chairs. The cottage was clean, bed comfortable, great shower with pleanty of hot water. Ben, at check in was friendly and helpful. We communicated with staff by text to request more coffee. They were quick to respond and deliver. Overall great stay!

The jute tents apparently are fairly new so I’m guessing they are still going to be working around them-like making a better road to access them. Also, there were too much foliage in front of our tent to get any view of the ocean. Access to bathrooms and showers is up a steep hill where all the rvs are and not convenient at all so it’s obvious the Jute tents are an addition that came later. You have only an outhouse to use. They say there are solar panels but the electricity for charging your phone didn’t work at all. There are zero lights inside the tents-they should consider putting it sometime if battery run lighting for convenience for people. Also the way they make the inside step down so close to bed is very dangerous for people in the dark especially if getting up in middle on night to use outhouse. Lastly, the step op to the attached deck is way too high and hard to get up for older people or little people etc…especially when carrying your stuff in there. Putting an added step would be nice If these improvements were considered and brought about I would definitely do it again in the tents. Otherwise, I would only go to s more accommodating cabin with better amenities. Please consider these changes-nit just for convenience but also for safety. The people there were extremely nice and friendly though so they get a 10 for sure. And the location so close to the water can’t be beat!

Bathroom is a little smelly. The tent smell like paint or some type of lacquer. Expedia shown towel will be provided but it wasn’t. Had to requests towel and it took 30 mins to get them.

The property was beautiful and clean. I really loved and appreciated the amentities for our dogs. The cottage provided robes and extra towels which i thought was amazing as well. Overall, would return again .

Million dollar view of the bay in Avila. SO AWESOME!!!. Definitely unexpectedly fabulous accommodations. So nice we booked an extra night.

Check in procedure seamless - friendly staff! Employees made sure entire space was perfect for our entry. Perfect view and perfect size room/tiny house. Cannot wait to go back!

The view was incredible! The cabin was super nice and cozy. Only thing I would suggest would be a microwave and a hair dryer in the deluxe cabins.

The physical location of this property cannot be beat! Full ocean views from every unit/RV spot. We stayed in the cottages and were very impressed with the bed, luxurious linens and toiletries, there were even bathrobes available the unit! If you have stayed in the cabins at other flying flags properties you should be aware that the cottage units at the Avila property *do not* have full kitchens. There is a mini fridge, coffee maker and a tiny sink, but not even a microwave. There is a communal microwave in the hospitality center but we just found it odd there wasn’t one actually in the unit. Our only real complaint is the check in window for the cottages is from 4-6pm **only**
