Literally the cleanest room I’ve ever stayed in…and my expectations are sky high! Place looked and felt brand new. No wall scuffs, no nasty grout, no warn carpet. It was adorable!
Location was great too. Easy parking and just a short walk to the beach and the restaurants in town.

This was a lovely property just what we needed and in a good location for town. The cleaning staff were absolutely lovely and very friendly and helpful. We loved the modern feel to the place and appliances whilst paying homage to it’s historical past as a fire station- highly recommend

We had a fantastic stay at The Old Fire Station in Hokitika. It’s a really unique and beautifully converted property, full of character and charm, while still being comfortable and well equipped.
The location was great for exploring Hokitika and the surrounding West Coast, and the property itself was a lovely place to come back to after a day out. Everything was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully presented.
A really memorable place to stay and somewhere we would happily recommend. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again.
