The setting is beautiful with a large lake out front. The location is great for nearby events & very peaceful. The room was huge, so clean & tidy, smelt amazing. Comfy bed with soft sheets & large fluffy blanket in the drawer if needed. The bath is full length, with good pressure electric shower. There was a great selection of tea & coffee, with little milks in the cute mini fridge. Lots of natural light, good blackout curtains.
The host was lovely, excellent communication and accommodating as much as possible.

Stunning location lovely and quiet clean tidy fan provided in the hot weather.
With the hot weather a duck feather quite was probably not the best idea but other than that no faults whatsoever so ever

Location and setting
The images from the website showed the room we had with a bath, there wasn’t any hot water for a bath or sink only the shower. I book a room with bath due to my partners health needs and it wasn’t useable. The pictures also show fabulous grounds but you are restricted to a small area. The main reason I booked this place was it was owned years ago by my school friend’s family and I would stay there most weeks and wanted to show my partner. The towels were musty
