It's right off 35 and local to everything. Cute cafe next door. The photos online are AGED. Don't come here thinking it looks like that. Front desk check in was quick and easy! Friendly! Overgrown vegetation outside, pool closed up. We found a needle cap when we parked. Maybe diabetic? Either way we went up to our room. The door is at an angle so there's a little space when closed but it closed and locked. There was writing on the wall- someone wrote Ben and an L behind the door so possible unseen by cleaning service. You can tell they came in and cleaned, drawers were open and spotless. Older lamp shade on desk was bent in, light by bed the shades were pushed in. No big deal. Large crack in sink, large crack in wall. Looks like the handle in the shower someone grabbed with stuff on their hands and didn't wipe it off. Leaking shower but we didn't care, just in town for a concert. The AC worked, door locked and the beds and pillows were comfy so one night was okay. We had two beds but shared a bed because there were stains on the other bed sheets LOL we left the blankets folded over so cleaning service could see it. No ruckus outside. Next morning someone parked between our cars in a spot that wasn't a parking spot & they were inches from our vehicles. How they even got out of their car was shocking to me! Overall stay was okay for a one night gig but I don't think I'd stay for awhile. They need to update the photos as this place needs a good update

I booked this hotel for me and my teenage daughter to stay at while we went to a concert in Austin at the Moody Center. I felt like we were safe, we even walked to the Moody Center which was about a mile hike. The room was clean, it wasn’t glamorous but it served our purpose of providing a safe place to stay. We didn’t have any problems.

first room has lot of flies, very cold and lot of dampness in the room
not sure why
second room on second night is lot lot better, good air quality and lighting, but doors are beaten up and sink top has crack on granite washtop but functional. Able to live 2 days there.
first room rating 1.0
second room rating 2.5
havent got chance to eat breakfast
but wifi is good to meet to work

Absolutely horrible! Was nothing like the pictures! Very miss leading? Do many code violations!

The room itself was fine. It was clean and comfortable. The ice machine was out and when i called the front desk they didnt even know it was out. The hotel looks sketchy, over grown vegetation, pool was nonfunctional but it was in walking distance to the Moody center.

The bed i had was like sleeping on a box spring

Great service! Price was good. There was a dirty chair in room. Bed was comfy.

The toil tank lid was cracked and the bath tub had nasty brown stains in it like rust or brown die ? . Looked nasty. Paint marks on the wall .

Unfortunately, this stay was not good. Our room had a puddle of water outside the doorway which went into the carpet inside the room making it smell moldy. The room was missing the smoke detector. Multiple wall outlets were not working and toilet didn’t flush well either.

I doubt that I will return. The A/C unit is placed so high that you can't see the controls, and someone shorter might be unable to reach them. There were no cups in the bathroom when I first got there, or an ice bucket. I stayed Wednesday-Saturday, and my roon was NOT cleaned nor was I provided extra towels the entire time. The neighborhood is sketchy at best. Security is needed, I had another person who was staying there, who was ohviously stoned, banging on my door at 2 a.m. asking if I was maintenance and then asking if I was some other person. The only advantage to the motel is that it was within walking distance of the UT campus. I will say that the desk clerk was courteous.

This place is absolutely awful. From check in until we LEFT at 2:30 AM because we didn't feel safe. There were homeless people hanging out by the office. We were given a room with the tub faucet that didn't turn off. Not a little leak or drops, it was constantly running.
We got a knock on our door after midnight. Our large neighbor want to know if he was keeping us awake.
There were people hanging out around the cars, being loud all night.
What finally made us leave and make the hour and a half trip back home in the middle of the night was the roach on the ceiling. And we just didn't feel safe there.

Worst hotel, nasty room, most uncomfortable bed. The whole place is falling apart. Please do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

The ice machine was not working, the pool was out of service and the surroundings seemed like an abandoned place, leaving the place in the vehicle is very dangerous since they do not have a traffic light. Central location friendly staff. Right next door there is a very good restaurant and there are several grocery stores nearby.

This was the ugliest hotel I've ever stayed at. The front desk girl was rude as heck and I couldn't understand a single word she was saying because she talked too fast. The entire place was a dump and I paid way too much for my stay here.

I do not recommend this hotel. When we first tried to check in, the desk clerk was not in the office.
She was having to take out the trash. The office waa locked. We finally found her on the other side of the property. The hotel was in poor condition on the outside. Never updated. The inside was better. Very clean. The beds were clean and very comfortable. But. There was mold in the bathrooms on ceiling. There was no coffee maker or coffee in the room. You could hear the noise easily on the floor above. The pool was not open and looked as if it hadn't been in a long time. Last, there were homeless men hanging around and eating in the breakfast room. As a woman traveler, this did not make me feel comfortable.

I travel a lot and am usually lenient in my reviews, but this place is in pretty bad shape. We chose it for the price and location (near the UT-Austin campus), but it is one of the shabbiest motels I've been to in years. Cracked countertop, non-functioning smoke detector, leaky faucet, filthy walkways...I cannot recommend this hotel. It is also located right on a main thoroughfare, so it's quite loud.
2.0
Noise level and property conditions were awful. So bad we checked out early and just lost the funds. Don't stay here. We could not use one of the rooms due to the door lock not working. The property attendant had to let us in when we left. Simply an awful place.

The point of the nails under the carpet going to the bathroom on room 214 were exposed. I actually stepped on it. My husband had to break the wood since there were more than a dozen nails sticking out.

The location was great. Very convenient to UT/downtown/Convention Center/6th Street, and to area restaurants. The Housekeeping staff and front desk staff are amazing. VERY professional, friendly, and responsive.
When I pulled up, the exterior made me question my decision to stay at this location. When I first arrived there were several folks that appeared homeless and junked out hanging out in the parking lot. One individual appeared to be doing his own auto-detailing job in the parking lot. Several of the exterior lights were out, so the walkway was dark at night. The exterior was rundown but it was the lack of care and effort kind of rundown, not
due to the age of the building. Power washing the stairs and walkways alone would make a big difference. My impression is that whoever owns this location doesn't really care about it and/or they're cheap.
My room was completely run down and made me wish I had not forgotten to bring slip on shoes. The carpet looked dirty, warn, and frayed. My room was dark, dingy, and warn. Even the vanity light was missing the light shade. The A/C unit was so loud that I would turn it off at night so that it would not wake me every time it turned on. The toilet would not stop running if you didn't adjust the flap by hand. I had friends who stayed in 2 other rooms, and their rooms were very nice and updated. I wasn't so lucky. To be fair, their toilets also would constantly run because the flaps were worn out and not sealing properly.

The room given to me was obviously under renovation. The TV was not hung on the wall, the Toilet light and extractor dirty and noisy. It was horrible

Very friendly staff willing to drop what they're doing to assist you.

It is so close to the UT campus that made it the perfect place to stay for our stay as we were attending conference on campus. Very easy to get to it, not that far away from downtown Austin and walking distance to some amazing restaurants.

my daughter had swimming in UT, so i try to find the closest hotel. This one is horrible, it it right by the I-35, so noise, but the piece of the door underneath is totally gone, so I felt i had slept under bridge for the whole day.
Evening staff is very rude, even i told her that room is noise, she said all our rooms are QUIET. the room is very dated, shower does not work well.
so even you are looking for a convenience and cheap, i still do not recommend this one. has not have such bad experince of hotel for so long.

Unacceptable for the price. Unacceptable in general. They should rent rooms by the hour. It would be more fitting for the conditions.

Building needs maintenance, and some privacy fence on that area. Area around feels very unsafety.

According to the pictures on the website, the hotel is a nice DaysInn. In reality, the hotel looks like a run down dump that DaysInn purchased and stuck a sign up. Breakfast was a joke - the pictures show hot breakfast options including waffles. In reality, breakfast was a true continental breakfast with pastry options, bread, english muffins, cereal and yogurt. There was no butter for the bread but a toaster was available there was grape jelly also available. Coffee was cold

Very thin walls. You hear everyone around you. The fridge in our room didn't even work. Could hear a loud Tv on one side and on the other side a mother yelling at her kid and on the phone yelling at her boyfriend till early morning! Terrible experience. Never again!
2.0
Room was pretty clean. Air conditioner was noisy!!! Made a bad creaking nose. Our room was directly adjacent to the freeway, so there was a lot of traffic noise. Parking lot is hard to park in the way it is set up. Freezer didn't work, but the refrigerator did. Comfortable bed, nice hot shower with good water pressure.

Room was very clean.
The property could use a good cleaning. No area for pets to use restroom

Customer service was poor. The young lady at the counter was on her phone with her boyfriend and was tending to that conversation more than to me. She whispered that I had to sign a document and I thought that was very unprofessional. The room was clean, but the AC unit didn’t work at first until I tripped the breaker on the AC plug that’s connected to the outlet. If you’re looking for a restful night this is t the place for you; the walls are thin and the highway is right next to this hotel so you will hear loud cars passing by all night. Overall I’d say you get what you pay for. 2/5 stars.

The door was broken and every time i had to step out, i have to go to the front office and they will come with me to open the door manually😂. The stair case to the room were super dirty. The heater was not working properly and window in bathroom was open as a result the room was too cold whole night.

The Hotel has seen better days, but the staff were great and we had no problems.

Room was ok. However by it being affiliated with the Wyndham. Concerns me. It was like a motel6 on the outside. Husband couldn’t sleep do to him being worried about our car. You had homeless people and others walking around the property. Very unsafe to have a one way in and one way out. Paint peeling off tub. The pictures online was not what the room looked like in person.

This location is in a very bad location it looks very dirty on the outside and is located under the freeway. I didn’t feel safe staying here.
2.0
It was dirty like stains on the beds and ants and some other flying bugs on the first floor rooms, maybe the top floor is better about bugs but the staff was very friendly and the outside was clean from trash and such. But the property needs maintenance, lots of cracks and holes that may have been the reason for so many bugs

Ramshackle building in desperate need of a makeover! Rooms are in good shape but with very limited space. Staff was nice!

it was close to the stadium for the UT game however the room being so close to the highway prevented me to get adequate sleep. Will not book there again
