You really can't beat the location. You can see the hotel from the station. It's so close that taxi drivers wouldn't take us there, lol. xD (We didn't realize how close it was when we first hailed a cab.) If you have a TON of luggage, the taxi drivers at the station might make the 30-second drive to the hotel, but since we only had small duffel bags, we just walked the 4~6 minutes it took to reach the hotel. The hotel room itself was spacious and comfortable. The front desk held our luggage for us before check-in as we wandered around the city. We stayed during Tanabata (七夕; the Star Festival) and this hotel was only a block or two away from the area with all of the decorations. It was really convenient. It was also next door to a very popular Gyuu-tan (beef tongue; 牛タン) restaurant, so that was a nice surprise. We went there for dinner and it was delicious.
We liked everything! The staff were helpful and the rooms were comfortable. One small note, though: This hotel is located RIGHT in the center of the city next to the station, so it is surrounded by other tall buildings. Our room faced a high-rise business building, so we could see right into their office windows and they could probably see right into our room at all hours of the day. We were also on a mid-level floor above the parking entrance/exit, so we could hear the crosswalk beeping and parking garage sirens/alerts going off constantly. We live in Tokyo, so we are accustomed to city sounds, but people traveling from quieter areas might be put off by the constant noises. Just a heads-up.

Not really a dislike, but the three laundry machines - only one was available and the other two were not/faulty.

Clean big room friendly staff
Put me next to elevator where people constantly talking and waking me up. And cleaning staff at 8am there shuttle by my room loudly !!
Als the Elevator stops at 4th floor ; then bottom. Limited stuff available only 1 water a day
