The location was really good being close to the lake and Town. Parking was tight but secure.
There are far too many rules when staying here, it made us feel quite unrelaxed and almost unwelcome. For example - You must take off your shoes at the front door, this meant we had to walk up two flights of stone stairs to reach our room, this was uncomfortable and laborious, especially when moving luggage in. You cannot bring food to the room as the "ants will populate your room overnight". Not only is this an unpleasant thought but with a four year old child with us, he is not allowed any snacks or breakfast in the room. Despite adhering to this rule we still had ants in the room from the time we checked in.
The room had a very small fridge which had not been plugged in before our arrival, once plugged in it was very noisy and annoying through the night. The beds were not comfortable and the temperature was cold in the evening. We had no way of turning on the radiators to even dry the towels.
