The property was well kept and comfortable. Plenty of space. Beds very comfortable.
Local shop and fish and chip shop within 10 minute walk.
Bus stop only 5 minutes away so Weymouth and other areas of Portland are easily accessible.
No enclosed garden so not really suitable for dogs.
Outside space needs a bit of TLC, the benches and table need a bit of up keep and an umbrella would be nice for hot sunny weather.
Property is on a steep hill which some might find difficult especially with mobility issues.
Two local pubs within 5 minutes, however, neither do food so you will need to go further afield.

Great location exploring Portland and for us a good walk along the coast to Weymouth
Spacious and clean.
Well equipped kitchen
The top floors do slope slightly but this does not distract from its uniqueness
Parking is a bit tight to get into, but still able to park
A lovely walk to the pebbly beach and beautiful clear water to swim in

Confusion with booking and getting information to access the accomadtion. We booked through booking.com which didn't accept my card payment. I received a message with a telephone contact number which put me through to Hoseasons who took my payment and confirmation of the booking was sent through by cottages.com ? Emails to the property manager weren't answered regarding access to the property. The telephone number for the property manager I found out was again Hoseasons who I thought were rude and said they would get back to me once the owner contacted them which could be on the day of our departure for our holiday.. We spoke to Booking.com who were helpful and polite and eventually were given the owners contact number.
I messaged the owners after our holiday regarding a few things but never heard back from them
Communication wasn't brilliant and it's the first time I have experienced this through Booking com, cottages.com etc but the holiday home is a lovely place to stay.
