What a lovely hotel, right on the loch shore! We arrived too late for dinner but the breakfast was very tasty. Our room was clean and spacious, and looked out over the loch: marvellous! We spent the evening in one of the reception rooms with our friends, just chatting and relaxing after a gruelling few days on the road.
Not much, really! Apart from the lack of an elevator (lift), but that's not surprising in a quaint place like this.

The location right on the water was lovely, and the room was beautifully decorated, large, airy and very comfortable.
The staff were lovely and very accommodating and helpful.
As I was leaving early I was unable to have the included breakfast, so they made me a lunch to take with me, delivered to my room early in the morning.
Noise and floor movement from the next room was very noticable.

The lodge is set in an absolutely amazing spot, with stunning surroundings that make it a truly memorable location. The personnel and the manager were all very kind and welcoming. Fine meals.
We did feel that the price was quite high compared to the overall services offered.
The dinner and breakfast areas lacked atmosphere and coziness for such an amazing guest house by the lake. Our room had a mattress with one side noticeably deeper from frequent seating, which made sleeping uncomfortable. There seemed to be too few staff members at times to maintain the level of service one might expect at this price point.
