We started booking late in the game and there were not many options left on the Isle of Skye when we booked. It’s about 45 mins south of Portree, an hour from Storr and 45 from the Fairy Pools. It’s a good location if approaching from the south.
It’s right next to the main road so you will definitely get the traffic noise.

Cozy setting, big bathroom, everything you need
Small bed (my feet were sticking out), bathroom fixtures too high, the uneven surface of the floor did not allow the bed to be completely flat and made it a bit uncomfortable

It's a nice place that has almost everything a traveller would need. The check in and instructions are easy, the place is clean. They even have laundry services (we didn't use it though).
We expected some plates and cutlery since the place has a microwave, but there's none. We had to heat our food in the tea cups... Also, exactly at 7 AM someone living upstairs got up and started to walk around for 2 hours straight, and you can hear every step and every squeak in this bedroom. The room is tiny, I always hit my feet at single beds - would be better if they were bunk beds.
