The villas are tucked away from the main road in Lio, only a very short drive from the airport and Lio beach. We loved that it was away from the hustle and bustle - it was a hidden piece of heaven. The villas are immaculate, spacious, and comfortable. The staff members are simply amazing - they were friendly and charming, and ever so accommodating. The breakfasts were such a pleasant surprise - tasty and beautifully presented. We felt very pampered throughout our stay.

Beds were like concrete. Very hard and uncomfortable. Reception staff very friendly but didnt listen to instructions/requests. Shuttle for pickup from port, driver didnt have a sign.Took 1/2 hour to locate driver thanks to a nice local. Shuttle booked for the following day, staff booked incorrect time then driver never showed to pickup at the end of the day. Admittedely staff tried to contact us apparently but our phone had died as were were island hopping for the day. communication at times was difficult

We liked the look of the rooms. It was pretty and clean. Beds were comfortable. People were nice. Quick to bring us things.
Most of it unfortunately. For the price you pay, what you get is not worth the stay here. To start of, as you enter the property it’s located so deep in the jungle there is no way to walk up to main road without hurting urself. The road is so bumpy and no lights. Then the place itself has no facilities like a bar or restaurant so no room service. The only place they can order food from is one restaurant that gave us burnt food and made a couple of us sick. Breakfast in the morning is always cold and there is no microwave to heat it up. THE WATER PRESSURE IS NON EXISTENT! Like literally it was impossible to wash my hair. When we spoke to them about it they said the one tank they have cannot handle providing higher pressure…. The pool looks great in the pictures but hasn’t been build properly causing water to overflow and flood the entrance. No amenities provided. If you are traveling with kids, do not stay here as there is nothing to do and if your kids get hungry at an odd time there’s no way to get food unless you got them to get a tricycle to go and pickup food from a restuarant.

The room was very modern clean bright and well appointed. The small plunge pool was a welcome addition. And the staff are so friendly and helpful, the fact that these villas are away from the main town is a blessing…………and a curse. There sounds like there are changes coming for these villas which will only improve this place more. Overall I recommend Bahala Na Villas.
As alluded to above these villas are a 15min tricycle ride to town and with no restaurant at the location (for now) you have to plan your journeys and meals carefully. Nor is there anything to do at the location itself so if you can’t entertain yourself you may struggle. There are no TV’s in the units and yes I get the hole you are there to relax idea but in this day and age let the guest decide if they want to turn it on or not. There are no games or books so nothing to entertain you or kids if you have them. There is wifi so bring tablets as it’s hard to watch a movie on a phone as a couple especially if you are like me and had a day in the room due to an upset tummy. Lovely to have a free breakfast in the morning but the one I had was stone cold as was my wife’s, and generally these could be improved. For example my full English breakfast came with toast but no butter jam etc, mind the presentation of the breakfast is amazing. Now in fairness this might be beyond the villas control but the access road is really non-existent and better suited to 4WD and not a tricycle.

The villa was very spacious and clean, nicely decorated exactly as shown in the pictures. The staff was very helpful and nice and assisted us with all requests. The location is in a remote area but you can rent motorbikes directly from the property.
This property is positioned as luxury stay but the amenities and services are not quite at that level. The breakfast is good, but quite small. The pool water was cold and in the end we never used it during our stay. We booked one boat tour through them of which we were disappointed as it was not very well organized. As the villa is located in a remote location, on our last evening we also ordered food through their proposed restaurant and the food was pretty bad, I do not recommend it.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience during our stay at the villa. One of the standout aspects was the incredibly accommodating staff. They went above and beyond to fulfill our every request, whether it was arranging transportation via tricycle, preparing our desired meals and drinks, or even arranging a delightful birthday surprise setup. Their warmth and friendliness created a welcoming atmosphere, and it felt like they were there to assist us with anything we needed.
The villa itself was a true haven of serenity. It boasted remarkable beauty and an aura of peace that enveloped the entire space. The spaciousness of the villa allowed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, while the impeccable cleanliness added to the overall sense of luxury. The portions were generous, leaving us fully satisfied, and the unique touch of serving breakfast on a basket that could float on the pool was a delightful surprise. We LOVED everything! Staff was extremely helpful in getting tricycles and accommodating food needs when my friend got sick on the trip. The villas are incredible, super clean and modern, they have amenities if you want to stay in and cook as well as beautiful complimentary breakfasts. The villas are in a quiet location 10 minutes from the main road and a few minutes from the airport/Lio Beach. Staff also helped us book a really great island hopping tour and helped us order delivery. There's also a small pool in each villa. Nearby beaches are 20-30 minutes away. We loved how quiet and peaceful everything was and so happy we stayed at Bahala Na and away from the hustle and bustle/touristy vibes that El Nido Beach had.
The road to the villas is very bumpy! Going to and from might take a little longer than staying where most of the bigger hotels are but rest assured it's SO WORTH IT.

Everything was exceeding expectations.
We stayed with family (2 kids) for a whole week.
Staff was very friendly and supportive with whatever requests we had (tricycle, shuttles, birthday, drinks, food, chef dinner, tours). Place is top level clean and made up every day. Interior of rooms very attractive. Pool cleaned daily. WiFi surprisingly very good.

The villa is absolutely beautiful and definitely spacious and clean. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was also well prepared and delicious.
The location is a bit far off from the main road and a bit hidden. Since it's in the forest, there are many mosquitoes there and they bit me on my back and gave me a whole lot of sores. This happened when we were walking around the villa area exploring the place. I highly recommend visitors to buy a mosquito repellent in El Nido town as soon as they get there, as those pesky insects are out for blood literally.

It’s away from night life. You can really rest after a whole exploring El Nido. We enjoyed our own pool, specially our 2 kids. The beds are very comfortable.

The road going to the hotel is very bumpy, that is the only thing that is minus to me. If you are not a party goinger and just want to rest the end of the day,this is the place you are looking.

The Villa itself was stunning. We had our own little pool and the rooms were absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and spacious! The rooms and the entire villa were also exceptionally clean and the air conditioning and WIFI worked great!
The location was about a 20 minute tricycle ride from the main town and a bit hidden but it added to the experience and was nice and secluded. Some previous reviews I had read prior to booking, complained about the road to get to the villa and wrote that it was difficult to get to, which made me a bit worried. However, once we arrived in El Nido, all the tricycle drivers knew where the villa was and had no issue with getting there. This villa is very new and construction takes time, however, there were plenty of signs and not difficult to find at all.
We also rented scooters that were delivered to the Villa, which were fun and easy to ride around the town in. The Villa helped with arranging this for us.
One restaurant that we went to was called Kusina Ni Maya (about 2 mins scooter ride from the Villa) and their food was delicious and reasonably priced. We also went to Lio Beach to watch the sunset and it was so serene and beautiful.
The staff was the best and truly what made our stay just perfect. They were amazing and extremely accommodating from the beginning to the end and assisted us with anything we needed, including arranging for our laundry. We were welcomed with fresh coconut drinks which gave us the tropical feel and experience. They went out of their way to ensure everything was just perfect for us and I cannot thank or commend them enough. My cousin was celebrating his birthday and I requested ahead of time if they could prepare a birthday sign. Instead they did something even better that far exceeded our expectations. We have nothing but positive reviews about this Villa and the staff, especially Meshie.
Nothing. Everything was perfect. For anyone who is looking for a room with a TV, this villa did not have TVs in the rooms, but rest assured, you will not need it as there is plenty to see around town.

We travel to El Nido regularly, and have stayed in many resorts/hotels/bnbs. I can say Bahala na Villas is a rare find. It's an ideal mix of comfort, style, and a little adventure. We were only supposed to stay 1 night, but enjoyed ourselves so much that we stayed for 1 more!
We were worried about some of the negative reviews we saw online, but knew they were wrong as soon as we arrived. Walking into the villas feels like walking into a mini 5-star resort hidden in the middle of an island jungle. Everything is brand new, clean, and comfy. It looks exactly like the pictures online - if not better in person!
We were 2 couples and fit perfectly in the villa. It would also be great for small families, since there are 2 comfy bedrooms, a dining/common area, and equipped kitchen. You can have both privacy, and time together easily. The outdoor space is beautiful too - you've got your own private pool, bean bags, and a pretty garden to catch sun. We didn't even feel like leaving for the beach anymore! But Lio beach was just a short ride away.
I also just need to mention the BATHROOM. I was so HAPPY to find an amazing shower with hot water, strong pressure, and a brand new toilet and bidet(!!). There was always a generator ready for the frequent black-outs on the island, and constant reliable internet. We know how hard these things are to find in El Nido, unless you splurge on an expensive resort!
Lastly, I can't say enough good things about the service. 12/10! The owners and staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. I'm already dreaming of coming back. I can't wait to bring my family here to experience this side of El Nido!
The road to get to the villas can be challenging because a portion of the way isn't paved, but we didn't mind.
We rented a motorcycle and would always enjoy the ride to our hidden oasis (even the times when it would be raining we felt safe!). It's a short drive from the main highway that takes you to a quiet backroad to the villas. You can easily also hire a tricycle to take you to the beach/nearby restaurants. The front desk is always happy to help with this.
We had such a good time that this wasn't even an issue for us!

Bad experience in this villa. They are very new so don't want to charge them for lack of maturity in some of their process. Staff is very nice and willing to accommodate. The rooms are very clean, all equipment is new. They come clean the rooms when you want. On the other hand :
- no TV
- no micro wave
- no slippers nor schampoo / body wash sample
- no hand towels
- poor WiFi
- very small swimming pool
- breakfast no hot drink, and not good
- no spa
- no water dispenser no bottles of water
- extremely poor telephone signals (phone + WiFi/4G)
- no kitchen, so breakfast is served cold everyday, every day
- no phone to contact reception (not convenient if you have small children, can't leave them alone in the house)
- no basic hygiene equipment (toothbrush, toothpaste...)
- no mini bar
- far from town, taxi fares are a racket (really)
Absolutely not kid-friendly, there is nothing for kids (not even a TV, poor WiFi, no playground, nothing). Recommend to go anywhere else, lots of hotels beach front and cheaper. Or try here in 5 years, when they are a bit more mature (and professional). Also will file a claim to booking as it's based on their reco, and it's not the first time they overrate the hotel.

Good design of villa
Isolated villa, overpriced services, untrained staff. They held us hostage although we told them that we were late for our flight and won’t let us leave until we pay 6 dollars (yes 6 us dollars!!) for a fork they claimed was missing! Very unpleasant experience! Also staff is not trained, they kept ringing the bell very early in the morning and late in the evening…
I won’t return, much better options for the price they charge
