Wir haben an der Unterkunft einfach alles geliebt! Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und hat alles, was es für einen perfekten Aufenthalt braucht. Die Lage des Anwesens ist atemberaubend und inmitten toller Natur mit Blick auf die umliegenden Berge. Besonders geliebt haben wir den geothermischen Hotpot am Fluss (ca. 3 Min Fußweg auf dem weitläufigen Gelände), von dem aus wir sogar Polarlichter sehen konnten.
Daniel ist ein ganz bezaubernder und freundlicher Vermieter, der sich perfekt um die Belange der Gäste kümmert.
Vielen lieben Dank, dass wir eure Gäste sein durften. Wir freuen uns schon auf ein Wiedersehen und werden Yogi vermissen 😀

This was the highlight of our trip! We were just doing one night, as were were traveling the ring road, but I wished we stayed 3! The place is gorgeous and looks brand new, modern but homey, with so many thoughtful amenities. The surrounding nature is quiet and beautiful, but not too far away from the main road. We didn’t have time to do the jacuzzi and sauna, but enjoyed a morning hike before having a delicious breakfast in the greenhouse, prepared by the host. He was so nice and shared stories about the place, and we got to meet Yogi the terrier and manager of the property ;) 11/10 will recommend to all my traveling friends.

The setting and location is amazing. We have travelled around the whole of Iceland twice now and this is one of the best lodge accommodations we have stayed in. The lodges are very high spec, clean and spacious. The kitchen has everything you could need. The grounds of the properly have been very sympathetically landscaped to fit in with the epic natural surroundings. Highlights are the riverside hot tub, the breakfast cafe and Yogi the dog.

Everything!!
It's located in a quiet spot in a secluded valley overlooking the valley and a glacier and just by the river!
Yet it's easy to find and get to and only a short drive from Hofsos and the main road.
Danielle, the host, is super friendly, available and assisting in anything you may need.
The cabins are very spacious, well equipped, beautifully designed. (if you can, ask for cabin no 1 which overlooks the glacier right from your dining table.
Great walks just outside your door.
A hot tub set in nature, on the brinks of the river.
A nice place for breakfast and coffee if you don't want to make for yourself in the cabin.
I felt that the hosts live the place and really want to share it with people who will love it too, so it's important for them that we have a good time there.
