The location was excellent. We were here for the Fringe, and it took only three minutes to walk from the front door to the train station. From there, it was about a 40-minute train ride to Waverley Station.
A small supermarket is within a 10-minute walk.
The two large reclining sofas were very comfortable, and we appreciated having a smart TV.
The host was friendly and helpful.
The apartment felt rather impersonal, and several practical touches were missing. For example, there was no ambient lighting, only very bright ceiling lights. There were no towel hooks in either the kitchen or the bathroom, the selection of crockery was somewhat unusual, and there was no coat rack. There was no wardrobe in the large bedrooms, only a clothes rack. There were small paintings hanging everywhere, but they seemed completely random.
We were out all day, so it wasn't a major issue for us.
The extractor hood was really dirty. The rest of the apartment, however, seemed clean.

The flat was spotless, very modern. It had a wonderful sea view. The host was very welcoming, we had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. The beds were extra comfortable. A very good holiday flat
I cant really think of anything we didnt like. The stairs to the flat were a bit daunting, but we managed them. I wouldnt let that put you off though it was a lovely flat.

Full sized apartment with lots of space, and a very generous welcome pack in the kitchen. Lots of light, and couches were very comfy to relax in. Free parking, and very close to the train station for easy access to Edinburgh.
The view includes a very ugly dock view as well as the lovely Forth. It’s on the top floor, so lots of stairs to get suitcases up.

The flat was beautifully decorated, lovely and warm and equipped excellently, we wanted for nothing. The location to the train station was excellent and the train service couldn't be faulted. The property was very quiet.
The hosts of the property were excellent, easy to get hold of and provided us with good information of the area.
On arrival we were very apprehensive as the 'apartment' was actually a top floor flat in a council estate, we felt the advert was misleading. However, the flat was very quiet and the interior was lovely.
