Roof didn’t leak. Location was in residential area, where people care about appearance of their properties. Water was hot.

Bed did not have a “modern” box spring base, but just springs. This would remind you of this fact EVERY TIME you moved. Looking for an experience of sleeping on a bed from the ‘40’s - nailed it. Room cleanliness poor. Our rooms hvac unit appeared not to have been cleaned since rooms last renovation decades ago. None of the plastic and paper cups had any protective wrapping. Also had the added value of hairs on tub. We were on the second floor in the Terrace building. Video attached

being offsite, many steps to climb, no charm

Discovering the town of St. Marys while staying at the Westover Inn to attend three Stratford Festival events in two days. The good location, spacious grounds, and nice bedroom at the inn. And the late arrival provisions worked well.

The Booking.com website did not explain that the rooms at this property are in three different buildings. It turned out that I had booked rooms in two different buildings without being aware of it. Fortunately we were able to change our booking for two rooms in the same building. The Terrace building where we stayed requires climbing stairs to both levels of rooms, so would not be accessible for some guests.

Everything else, the toilet seat was making noise and very low, bathroom floor is slippery even with little water, bathroom door made noise, bed was uncomfortable, restaurant timing is not useful etc..

I liked that it was a quaint historic property with lovely grounds. The cottage room we stayed in was clean, roomy and the King bed was very comfortable.

The coffee maker had expired condiments

That is our only complaint. There was no breakfast.

Being closer to Stratford would have been a little better. Of course that is not a criticism of you.

We liked the town of St Mary’s. The Inn was quaint.

The room was small and had an over powering lemon scent that I could not get rid of, even leaving windows open. I had a headache from it. We think they were covering mould smell that was distinct in the hallways. The pool was dirty with algae. On our second day while relaxing by the dirty pool they used a chain saw for over 3 hours to take down a tree within 100 yards of the pool. No nap had that day. Our toilet wasn’t working properly. We could not use it within a half hour of each other or it wouldn’t flush. It was a water refill problem. We used the ice bucket to help with the water flow problem. The air conditioning was extremely loud. We didn’t stay the second night, we left by 7pm. I would not go back.

Although meals were pricey they were very good.

The pool was a little chilly for July, but not their fault. Fine once you were in…lol…
