Westover Inn

Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful quiet location. Excellent food. Close to Stratford and provided a very nice get away. Just wished we had more time for a full course dinner but we needed to get to a play in Stratford. We have recommended this establishment to all the friends and relatives we met on our 2 week vacation and I'm sure we will continue to. Thank you, Westover!

Disappointed that a breakfast is not offered. We would have loved to had one there rather than going elsewhere. Maybe because they want guests to check out on time? Seemed a shame to dash away and not enjoy the surroundings even more but we just couldn't wait until 11:30am when the restaurant opened. I can imagine some guests would complain about the creaky floors when guests overhead were walking around. We live in a 1903 home and are quite comfortable with these types of noises especially because they did not go on all night. One guest coming into the Cottage, not the main building, mentioned the lower suites smelled mouldy but as we were on the main floor everything was fine.

Great location with 2 separate buildings available for lodging. We had an issue with a small water leak from the ceiling fan in the bathroom. It was over the toilet. We reported it and the staff moved us into an upgraded room with no cost increase.

There are some exterior maintenance issues that could be addressed to spruce up the property.

The grounds were lovely. The Inn needs some wear and tear paint repairs outside but overall the lobby and dinning area looked nice.

The bathroom fan made weird noises as well as the A/C which could be endured but the mattress was horrible. It made so much noise sitting on it let alone turning during sleep. Not very comfortable either.
