Very beautifully decorated, brand new property, immaculately clean, breakfast good.
We had a room on the second floor which was up a flight of outside stairs. If you are not able to lift your luggage because of health issues or have a large suitcase which is very heavy, make sure you get a room on the first floor. Staff does not offer to bring your bags up. Also, the staff goes home overnight and does not open front desk until 6:30 in the morning, so if you have an early departure, plan accordingly.
Hotel is not in the very center of town, but is up a big hill and about a 15 minute walk away. Not a big issue if you are active or have a car.
Did not see ac in room but there was a fan.

This was a really nice place; room was big and felt quite luxurious. Separate shower and toilet. Room came with coffee, tea and mate, and the mini fridge was packed and well priced.
It's a bit of a walk to the center of El Calafate, the place is also on a hillside.
The breakfast buffet was nice, but small and felt really cramped, especially when you're not the only one there.
