My stay was wonderful, especially thanks to Zen and the staff who were super helpful! The rooms were beautiful and all the details (snorkeling masks, beach bag,...) really made a difference and added value to my trip.
I liked it so much I extended my stay and would definitely come back! Highly recommend!
Keep in mind the location is +/- 20 min walk from the harbour, however this didn't bother me at all.

La Isla Bonita was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was so warm, attentive and genuinely happy to help — the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like a guest rather than just another booking.
We loved all the thoughtful details throughout our stay. The beach bag, snorkelling masks and different towels for the shower, face, hair and beach may sound like small things, but they make such a difference and show how much attention is given to the guest experience.
The location is perfect if you want to enjoy the peaceful side of Gili Air. It is tucked away in a quiet area, surrounded by greenery, yet the beach is only a few minutes away. We loved being able to enjoy the tranquillity of the property and then walk down to the beach whenever we wanted.
Breakfast was another highlight — fresh, delicious and served with the same warmth as everything else.
But what we will remember most is the people. The team genuinely goes the extra mile, and their smiles and kindness made our stay feel special from beginning to end.
If you are looking for somewhere peaceful, beautiful and welcoming in Gili Air, we would absolutely recommend La Isla Bonita. We would come back without hesitation!

We had a wonderful stay at La Isla Bonita. The staff were absolutely fantastic — incredibly friendly, attentive and always happy to help with anything we needed. Their warmth and professionalism really made a difference throughout our stay.
We also loved all the thoughtful little details provided by the hotel, from the snorkelling masks and beach bag to the different towels and everything prepared for a comfortable day at the beach. These small touches really show how much care goes into the guest experience.
Breakfast was delicious and a lovely way to start the day, with everything freshly prepared and served with a smile.
The location is another big highlight. It is in a peaceful and quiet area, away from the busier parts of the island, but still just a short walk from the beach. It was the perfect balance between tranquillity and being close to everything.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily stay at La Isla Bonita again. Highly recommended!
