I loved the bar setting and found the rooms to be very comfortable.
The air conditioning in the breakfast area made it uncomfortable and it felt too cold.

Perfect location with easy access to Brooklyn as well as Manhattan. Lower East side is the favourite part of Manhattan, so always stay there. Interior design is impeccable, rooms are designed with attention to details and feel so cosy I did not want to leave in the evening!
Standard rooms are generally quite small sized. Otherwise, everything is superb.

I chose this hotel for its design and it did not disappoint. The room was beautiful, spacious, the bed very comfortable. You can see the attention to detail by everything that’s provided in the room. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, I felt very taken care of. The breakfast is a la carte and was truly delicious and had some healthy options (and this comes from a very picky person). Some days I was in a rush and wished to there was a buffet, but still it was worth the wait especially in such a gorgeous room. The location was great, there are three subway stations nearby - one within just a 3min walk, and the other two within 10. I thought it will be a quiet area with nothing going on, but there were plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops, and really good ones! I really enjoyed my stay, highly recommend.
I’m not a fan of having only a rain shower and have to bend around the shower not get my hair wet. Wish there was a regular shower head as well, but maybe this is typical in the US.
