The Marlton Hotel

Loved the charm of the hotel. The bar and the breakfast room were just beautiful. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Location was perfect and we loved the hotel's ambience.

The rooms are very small .. my daughter and I had a twin room for 4 nights and it was a squeeze. The beds were so comfortable though and linen so lovely - which did make us overlook how squashed we were.

Location was excellent. The ambiance was beautiful, including the rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. Well stocked fridge in room. Fast and thorough room service.

breakfast was a bit lacking and underwhelming. Breadbasket should have some actual bread in it - not just sweet pastries. Yogurt with granola should have more fruit and berries with optional honey to sweeten the granola. It was served with mainly cantaloupe as the fruit, which does not go well with yogurt at all. It ruined the dish. As far as the shower, water came out from only about half of the holes in the shower head, resulting in very little water flow. Also, the first two days there was only hot water coming out. No cold water at all. The water temperature was very hot even if you had the handle on the cold setting. (this did not change even after letting water run for several minutes and wherever the handle was set). Then, on the last day, there was cold water... The second key should have a larger key fob so it's not so difficult to find in your purse or pocket. The key fob on the main key is much too large and heavy to carry around...

Great location, great staff. Needs to be cleaned more as room was dusty and not clean enough. Bedding was clean and comfortable, but get rid of fake fur blanket as full of germs and unhygienic

Needs more cleaning. Chairs and sofas in lobby/bar/restaurant have worn out springs and cushions and need to be replaced as worn out

location is excellent.

staff are miserable. one morning i came down for breakfast, the hostess took me to a table in a completely separate area of the dining room to where other guests were sitting. I could not help but feel discriminated against. for the price they are charging no complimentary drinking water in the rooms.
