Great views!!

The view! The bathtub was also amazing. We had fun at Standard grill happy hour. Staff was very helpful. Location was great, but very crowded with tourist (like us) taking advantage of the holiday weekend.

The night club music made rooms above 10th floor less than ideal for sleeping. Maybe an investment in more insulation? Staff relocated us, thankfully. They must have to deal with this daily. Would have liked a coffee maker in the room.

Der Ausblick aus den Zimmern ist wirklich spektakulär und vor dem Hotel und im Aufzug gibt es verschiedene Arbeiten von Künstlern. Die Lage ist auch großartig!!

Es hat schon damit begonnen, dass alle unsere Kreditkarten beim Check in abgelehnt wurden. Seltsamerweise hatten wir mit den Karten außerhalb des Hotels nirgendwo Schwierigkeiten. Jedenfalls waren die Damen beim Check in nicht sehr kooperativ und hätten uns nicht mal in unser reserviertes Zimmer gelassen wenn eine Freundin nicht ihre Kreditkarte hinterlegt hätte. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein - klar New York eben… aber es gab gerade mal 5 Kleiderbügel und keinen Kasten oder Möglichkeiten den/die Koffer zu verstauen. Man merkt, dass das Hotel einen gewissen Status hat und es den Mitarbeitern relativ egal ist ob die Gäste eine gute Zeit haben oder nicht. Auch ist es nicht selbstverständlich als Gast in die Hotelbar gelassen zu werden - wir haben es aber auch gar nicht versucht weil wir keine Lust hatten vor dem Hotel anzustehen um vom Türsteher eingelassen zu werden oder nicht. Wir sind jedenfalls sehr froh, dass wir uns für unseren kommenden Malediven Urlaub im Jänner gegen das Resort „The Standard“ entschieden haben. Einmal und nie wieder… gibt genügend andere tolle Hotels in New York.

Prachtig uitzicht over de Hudson en de stad. Heerlijk kingsize bed. Apart toilet is fijn. Wij hadden een deluxe kamer met Kingsize bed. Fijne ruimte.

Waterdruk van de douche, slechte verlichting in de douche.

Needs renovations

it's out 2nd stay (10 year ago) - love the location and the views

it has lost its "grandeur" - Sad reception area and staff. The rooms need renovations, not much has been done in the past 10 years, very old and noisy bed, used furniture.

Amazing view. Comfy bed. Attentive staff. Great location.

Weird bathroom layout with the shower and sink combined. Our feet were always wet when we went to wash our hands, since the shower drain was on the wrong end of the floor.

They were very kind to allow me an early check in clearly specifying there were no extra cost, the at check out they charged 100 usd extra. Restaurant very bad quality of food.

Great experience for our anniversary.

Celebrated our anniversary and they upgraded our room and gave us a bottle of champagne.

The bed was low and could not be entered from both sides of the bed. To get into the tub/shower it was a very high lip of the tub.

The staff was very attentive and their service exceeded my expectations.

My husband and I booked a standard queen room for a weekend in the city to celebrate our anniversary. The staff offered a complimentary upgrade for the occasion which included a standard king room with bath tube. I was amazed by the attention to details of the staff. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Location is amazing the room is comfortable and very clean. the view is great even in both sides (Hudson river and the city).

I missed more information about the hotel and its amenities when I arrived. I knew it was a pet friendly hotel, but this was not mentioned to us during our check in. One of the nights there were 2 dogs barking for a long time in the room next to ours.
