Please check the weather reports before arrival. If it is snowing or snowed recently tire cables may be REQUIRED! The CHP will make you turn-around and get cables if you do not have any. Best to have them in your vehicle before you leave. Reservations cannot be refunded to do weather. Please look into travel insurance if you are worried about your stay. My family and I will never forget this house or our time there . We lost my son to cancer last December, and Lake Arrowhead was very special place for my son . The house was perfect place for us to be together, and celebrate my son . I would love to to rent this home again in the future.. Thank You

We had an awesome time! Great family vacation location. The house was well stocked with necessities. Negative issues: The game room was a mess!!! Once we cleaned it and organized the equipment it was a lot of fun hanging out with the grand-kids. The clothes dryer was full of wet towels and smelled terrible. We rewashed and dried them. It took us several attempts to figure out the dryer settings but we finally got it down :) Thank you for sharing you beautiful house with us! P.S. We were informed to bring ice because the ice maker was not working :( I fixed the ice maker for you :) there was a lot of frozen ice stuck in the ice chute.

Their garage was converted into a game room. There is no heat in the garage (aka game room). The kids were freezing cold! This is a highlighted feature in the listing; but they don't tell you there is no heat (for when it is cold) or AC (for when it is hot outside). Direct TV did not work.

Perched in the forest with stunning views and a short, crisp walk to Arrowhead village, this home is such a treasure find. All that you hope from a weekend escape with friends and family from the stress and bustle of busy LA. First, the privacy is most welcome, sitting high atop a hill in the woods with towering bay windows, stunning views from every side yet no neighbors can see in. Once you walk in and enter the great room, you're swept away by the charm and tasteful appointments. An open kitchen floor plan that flows to the stone hearth and cozy living space with state-of-the-art appliances and rustic furniture and a fun game room that will keep your family and friends laughing and playing together for hours. The upstairs master bedroom is so romantic and tucked away, pitched lifty ceilings with a sprawling bath that feels right out of a 5-star resort. The canopied jacuzzi nestled on the rear deck amongst the tall pines is a real gem. When you think of the perfect trip to the mountains, this chalet is such a special touch of class in quaint Arrowhead. Can't wait to make more memories there again.
