We loved the peace and quiet. The view from the porch is beautiful. We could see O Cebreiro! It’s a great place for those who want to enjoy full relaxation and tranquility. The property is a few kilometers from Triacastela, but the owner, Teresa, picked us up from Triacastela, and in the morning, also picked us up from property. She was flexible with where to drop us off. The house is lovely, and it’s obvious that it’s maintained with love and care. It’s impeccably clean. There are two bedrooms, a family of four could definitely stay. The fridge was well-stocked with cured meats, local cheese, yogurt, jam, water, beer, and wine. All the stuff needed to prepare hot drinks was also available. There were a variety of breads, including a freshly made baguette. There were plenty of fruits and snacks to enjoy. We were able to wash our clothes with the washing machine and dry them on the porch. Teresa and her daughter, Sara, are lovely hosts. Should another opportunity to be in the area come, we will definitely stay here again.

The house was a short drive from town but not to worry a magical angel named Teresa pick you up, treats you with so much kindness. And that is just the start. This house is amazing. So relaxing, beautiful and everything is 100% top notch. Staying and living like a local. Breakfast options are too many to list and Coffee!!! Yay!! You can hear the cow bells from the back yard, the greasy smell of lavender and the views of the mountains are nourishing. I have only praise for this stay and I wish I would have been able to stay a week. Looking forward to staying on the next trip.

Serene, green, peaceful. Every detail considered. I didn’t want to leave. Teresa is the perfect hostess. It is worth going just outside Treacastela to stay here. I stayed here May 15, 2026
