This thoughtfully designed ground level, 2BR/2BA Bayfront cottage sits on 2.45 acres surrounded by natural foliage and the Apalachicola Bay. Located in Eastpoint, you’ll be just minutes from the white sand beaches of SGI and only a short drive to downtown Apalachicola for shopping and dining. For any avid fishermen, ‘Hook, Wine N Sinker’ is only a 1-minute car ride to the Eastpoint fishing pier and the nearest public boat launch is just 1 mile from the property! Begin your stay by entering into the family room which offers plenty of shared living space. You'll find the living room comfortably furnished with double recliner and a Queen sleeper sofa for alternate sleeping accommodations, a 65” Smart TV and a Blu-ray player. We’ve got you covered for any rainy days, with plenty of board games, books and movies for a relaxing day at home. Sorry, the fireplace is not available. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you’ll need to prepare your fresh catch of the day and has a bonus crockpot and electric skillet. The dining table seats 6 with additional seating for 3 at the large kitchen island. French doors in this space open onto the furnished screened-in veranda overlooking the hot tub and private pond with bridge. The spacious Master bedroom has a King bed, Smart TV and Blu-ray player, a separate work desk and French doors that open onto the screened-in veranda. The en-suite bathroom has a separate vanity area with plenty of counter space and a tiled shower. The second bedroom has a Queen bed and Bunk bed (2 Twins), with Smart TV, Blu-ray player and it also opens onto the screened-in veranda. The en suite bathroom is easily accessible from the living area and has a combination tub/shower. Pack-n-play and highchair are available for use. Just beyond the house, the garage has been converted into a game room w/ 2nd refrigerator and microwave, darts, corn-hole, ping pong and many other games to choose from. The full-size washer/dryer can also be found here. An excellent spot for birdwatching, head toward the bridge that overlooks your private pond. On the other side of the bridge is plenty of space to explore the surrounding marsh land and to watch the many water birds in flight. For the adventurous, take the path less traveled across our pontoon boats and head out to the bayfront beach to explore! Relax on the hammock, soak in the bubbling hot tub, or enjoy an evening under the stars around the wood-burning fire pit. Additional outdoor conveniences and extras include a porch swing, fish cleaning sink, and an abundance of citrus fruit trees that line one end of the driveway. And don’t forget your four-legged family! We allow up to 2 well behaved dogs with advance approval for an additional fee, please inquire. This delightful home is packed with so many extras it’s sure to help make your stay at ‘Hook, Wine N Sinker’ a memorable visit to the Forgotten Coast! Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were pleasantly surprised with this house. We are usually staying in the island, but decided to try Eastpoint. So glad we did! The house was super cute, not overly huge and barren, like some places we stay. It was quaint, cute decor, and the perfect size for us and our friends. The home owner did an excellent job with labeling lights, and the amenities were phenomenal. The property was great, with a pond (and river otters!). We see a few bears, but the bears kept their distance, as we did also. A nice little walk to the private beach in the bay. Great sunsets. And still super close to stores and restaurants. Great vacation in the perfect house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place exceeded my expectations! It was so beautiful with lots of wildlife. We saw otters, all kinds of birds, and bears. The owners have made a little pathway to the shoreline. Take some crocs or boots because it is a little wet getting out there but totally worth the effort! The home is nicely furnished and decorated to provide an upscale but comfortable experience. The beds were all comfortable, even the twin bunk beds have comfortable mattresses. The pillows were nice and the linens were soft. I have food allergies, so cooking on vacation is a must and I found everything I needed in the kitchen to make delicious meals! The house was super clean and smelled really fresh. I made a note of the air filter they are using. Even after we cooked seafood, by the next day the smell was gone. It was quick and easy to get to St. George Island from this location as well as other local attractions. In the evenings the sunsets were spectacular! We were able to bring our doodles and the girls really enjoyed their stay too! The owners have created a wonderful indoor and outdoor space to enjoy the best the Forgotten Coast has to offer! If you want to be immersed in a true Florida living experience, this is the place to stay!

Wow. Just book this place now!! It’s absolutely stunning, a slice of Heaven on earth! Extremely well equipped (we cooked a full Thanksgiving feast), tons a space, very comfortable beds, wonderful shower pressure, the views are unreal! Access to the bay on the property, incredible sunsets, 6 min to St George and 8-9 min to Apalach. We saw bears every evening and a bunch of other critters. They ran fast when they saw us and didn’t cause any issues with our dogs. We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

It was a pleasant surprise to see how spacious the house was for our family. The owners were very accommodating with providing a book of things to do and places to eat on the island. it is a beautiful area to vacation. We hope to be able to return next year.

What a great place to relax and unwind after a day at the beach or exploring the near by towns. We even drove over to Panama City Beach for the day and had a nice, quiet place to come back to.

We enjoyed sitting outside and watching wildlife, which included small alligators, several raccoons, gray foxes, and a variety of birds. The house itself was clean, stylish, and comfortable. The amenities made the trip extra enjoyable. If we visit this area of Florida again, we will definitely rent this property. It helped provide us with a very relaxing vacation in a get-away-from-it-all location.

Thankyou again Lindsey and Jamie yalls help with the tv! as I said we are two very techno challenged seniors...the property was extremely comfortable and clean...I mean really clean! The setting is beautiful. I especially enjoyed the bird chorus every morning. Convienent location beach, gas, groceries or roads to any direction for exploration of this unique area of Florida. I urge any body reading this to come and soak up some of this Forgotten Coast and “Old Florida” thanks again for everything!

The house was very clean and updated with everything you would need (except for the groceries…lolol) Beautiful scenery and the location was great. We could see the bay from the deck. Beautiful sunrise every morning. Glad we read the sign by the bridge in backyard over the canal..be aware of wildlife and please don’t feed them. We saw a bear, up close and an alligator in the canal, beautiful eagle, owl, raccoons, squirrels and a couple of foxes. Awesome, but a little scary when the bear came to the driveway in front of the house, of course we probably scared him too because he ran off quickly. All of the people in the town were really friendly.
