The Space: This apartment and complex are owned by Cocoa Beach locals, and have been passed down within the family for three generations. Needless to say, the decor and furnishings have changed a lot over the years! Now, you’ll find a boho chic and colorful but simple design to welcome you back from a day at the beach. Kick off your flip-flops and shower away the salt and sunscreen (the bathroom has a tub/shower combo). Then stretch out on the sofa for a nap and/or a movie on the flat-screen TV with streaming capabilities. For dinner, saute some fresh fish in your fully equipped kitchen, with an electric stove, fridge, and microwave. Or check out one of the great restaurants in Cocoa Beach—there are many delicious options within a mile. Other perks include free reserved parking, A/C, fast WiFi, and laundry in the building. It feels like home, but also like a place where time slows down and “the real world” fades away. Cocoa Beach is great for taking day trips, too! Disney World, Universal Studios and Island of Adventure are all within an hour’s drive. Kennedy Space Center is a half-hour drive away. Wildlife lovers and birdwatchers: be sure to check out nearby Banana River, a 31-mile lagoon with salt marshes, oyster beds and mangrove swamps that are home to dolphins, manatees, blue herons and more. Getting Around: Plenty of space for on site parking at unit. Many place are within walking distance locally such as the beach, shops, restaurant/bars, etc.) You are very close to the A1A and SR520 intersection that will each get you anywhere you want to be quickly. (Orlando is less than 40 min away) Uber and Lyft are prevalent and efficient in the area. Property needs updating. blinds are not good, Furniture not comfortable, Eating are table is small and not useful for eating. Location was good. Upstairs permanent tenant was up all night every night, noise made it hard to sleep. Could be better with some modifications and and a normal person upstairs.

The property was exactly as advertised, cute as a button. It was an easy walk to restaurants, the beach and Cocoa Beach pier. We were visiting to see Cape Canaveral and the Wizard of Oz Museum and both were easy short drives from the property.

Here's why you will enjoy Retro Boho By the Beach: Beach access (of course), parking at the door, quiet area, nobody bothered us, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, ease of access with code, feeling of security. The TV was nearly new, and worked very well with our Roku. The host provided coffee and cream. The fixtures in the bathroom were nearly new. The AC worked well. In short, "We would stay again."
