Excellent location, easy walk to downtown and access to buses, plenty of free parking

Lovely big comfy room . nice size bathroom. Very nice brekky lots of choices.

Our only issue maybe being on very top floor plumbing was a little hit and miss but staff addressed this straight away.

The guest house is in a superb location. Cameron is very helpful and organised. The breakfast is excellent and sets you up for a day's sightseeing. The bed was super comfortable and welcomed after a lot of walking.

I couldn't fault the guest house.

We were really disappointed with this place. Even arriving the hall and staircase looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in some time. The room was very dated and a strange configuration. But the bathroom was the concern. There was black mould on the edge of the shower tray, and the bathroom bin had hair stuck to the lid in some kind of yellow streak. For some reason there was a square of chipboard screwed to the wall at the side of the toilet - we assumed it was some sort of repair but no attempt to do it properly. It all just felt a bit grotty and uncared for. We'd moved from another hotel in Lerwick after deciding to stay a little longer, which had been fabulous and only slightly more expensive than this place. But the difference in standards and quality was huge. We looked to move and write it off after the first night but unfortunately without paying three times per night for a poorly rated place there were no options. Given concerns about the room, we didn't even attempt the breakfast and went elsewhere despite it being included. On Sunday morning, staff decided to vacuum right outside our bedroom door at 8am - again this didn't seem to evidence any real commitment to customer care and comfort. We absolutely would not use this place again, or recommend it
