About this condo rental

Nestled in Vancouver, this lovely condo for $291 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This custom designed loft has the perfect mix of elegance and comfortability: ideal for a couple's retreat, a family visit, or a business trip. The suite is close to many great shops and attractions as well as Rogers Arena, BC Place, Vancouver Convention Centre, the Sea Bus, and the Skytrain to the airport. We are located in the entertainment district so there are acclaimed restaurants and bars all around us and weekends can get noisy from the street and music in the area. Other details to note: Depending on the season, we may not approve booking requests that leave a one night vacancy before or after the request. We also may not approve two night weekend bookings that are requested more than two weeks in advance, especially in the high season we require 3 night bookings on weekends. Minimum 4 night bookings are required during the Christmas/New Years holiday, unless approved otherwise. **It's best to send an inquiry rather than an instabook if you have any questions about our listing or haven't had a chance to read our details, rules and policies first** **All reservations are subject to owners approval and may be cancelled within 48 hours** The unit is located on the second floor - there is no elevator. The loft stairs inside the suite are steep and open. Not recommended for younger or unattended children, or anyone with mobility challenges. If you require a pack and play, we have one that must be reserved in advance and is based on availability. Parking can be a bit of a challenge in the area. We have access to a secure parking spot that is close by for guests who are interested. The cost is $20-25 per day depending on availability. If you are interested in this, please let us know as soon as possible as it does take time for us to arrange. Pets are not allowed unless authorized by the owner prior to check in. Service animals are only permitted when assisting someone with a disability. Late check-outs (not pre-arranged) will incur a $60 per hour fee, min one hour. A $30 fee is charged for lost items that we return mail to guests. Changing/unplugging or removing cables from the AV equipment is strictly prohibited; a rewiring fee may be incurred. No candles of any kind are allowed in the suite. If this sounds like a good fit for you we'd love to host you!

I booked this VRBO for a family trip to Vancouver over the holidays and can't rave enough. The hosts provided comprehensive detail so my family and I would feel comfortable navigating in and around the apartment during our stay. The apartment itself is spacious, beautiful, and warmly done -- there are 4 people in my family and we each had enough space to be with ourselves in each other's company -- and we felt very safe and at home during our visit. We received helpful information for parking on the street and in the area and were able to keep our car safe in the nearby EasyPark Lot, per the hosts' recommendation. Gastown was a delight to explore by foot as well. It was easy to spend many hours popping in and out of the apartment between coffee, lunch, shopping, and dinner in Vancouver! I'm already looking forward to my next stay here. Thanks, Eddie, Marv, & Mei-Ling, for a wonderful holiday memory!

Beautiful loft on the border between Gastown and a section of Vancouver suffering from urban decay, homelessness, and rampant open drug use. Turn right out of the door and Gastown offers decent restaurants and shopping. Turn left and you enter drug zombie land.

The Loft was exceptional, and the location was full of charm and very walkable. Everything was accurate to the listing and the hosts were wonderful. We'd stay again when in Vancouver!

My wife and I stayed here for a get away to Vancouver, and it was the perfect location. Close to all that Gastown has to offer. The hosts provide a very helpful little guide to the area, with a list of nearby coffee shops, restaurants, and markets, as well as loads of other helpful info. The only potential down side is that it is above a popular pub, so things can be a little noisy outside on Friday or Saturday night, but we didn't find it to be an issue. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!

My sister and I came down with our husbands and spent the weekend in Vancouver. Loved the loft, owners were fantastic to work with. Only downside (which I didn't fully understand at time of booking) is that we are directly over a lively bar. Great if you are looking for a good time, less great if sleep is a priority.

Fun busy location with lots of options for food and drinks. The accommodations are beautiful, comfortable. A loft style, old building modernization like you see in movies. Was a bit worried about the locations proximity to Hastings, but it is in the heart of the touristy part of gas town so we never felt unsafe. Thank you!

As designer I enjoyed the complexity, and finish of the interior. Beautifully arranged spaces made our stay comfortable. If your looking for a quiet Vancouver experience Gastown may not be for you as the Loft is directly over a popular public house. My 25 year old son choose the Loft to place us right in the middle of all the great restaurants and night life. Greek, French, and breakfast restaurants are directly across the street. All very good! The homeless and addict presence was avoidable. As San Franciscan's we sort of used to it. Would we book the Loft again? YES! Have Fun all!

The apartment was perfect for our 3 night stay before boarding our Alaska cruise. Gastown location is fantastic with plenty of bars and restaurants, and a short walk to the cruise terminal. The apartment is very comfortable and provided everything we needed.

Our stay at this VRBO was excellent. The apartment is a beautiful space and was comfortable for both me and my sister for our travel needs. There is definitely an issue with the homeless population in that area. The hosts made sure to leave a very detailed guide to our stay, which included ways to navigate around the areas that we should avoid. I can't say for certain, however, it's likely that had we known about the area and the intensity of the homeless encampments we may have chosen a different place to stay. All in all, it was a magnificent place to stay and we really enjoyed our time at this beautiful location. Thank you to the hosts for checking in on us regularly during our stay and a very special thank you for allowing us to check into the space early, you all went above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable!

If you love an urban experience, then this location is hard to beat. We had a great stay. Property manager was very responsive. Cable TV seemed to be having a few issues. Likely satellite issue with the smoke from fires.

It’s not the Hosts fault that the city of Vancouver is having problems with homelessness and drug use, but it is really close to the property. Drug use happened right on the door steps to the property. In the heart of Gastown, easy access to transportation, lots to see and do in area! Apartment is beautiful and modern, has all you need for a comfortable stay! Steam shower is a plus!!!

The loft itself was very well appointed and comfortable. The property manager was very helpful and quick to respond to questions. The only issue we had was with the neighborhood. We had heard great things about Gastown, but found it to be rampant with homelessness and public drug use. We did not feel very safe walking around with our children. Overall, I don’t think we would stay again due to the location, which is a shame because the space was very nice.

Really great location for vacation. Condo is beautiful and had everything we needed. It is worth noting that a block away is Hastings Street, which seems to be Vancouver's Skid Row, with rampant open air drug abuse and junkies passed out all over the sidewalks. I wish I had known that going in, so I could avoid walking into all that mess with my kids. It is easily avoided once you're aware.

Great location and perfect for the four of us. Very walkable to a variety of great restaurants and venues. The master was the nicest I've ever seen in a short term rental, with a huge walk in closet, wonderful high ceilings and huge bathroom. Would stay again if we come back to Vancouver!

Had to settle our son into his new university so decided to come early and enjoy Vancouver a bit. The host was amazing and accommodating and the apartment was very beautiful exactly as the photos. Very spacious and comfortable. The area was very upbeat with a young crowd. Our son loved it. Wonderful stay. Parking garage was a tad expensive but nothing to deter you from renting a vehicle. All in all a very lovely time!

Check in was contactless and simple. The apartment itself is beautiful with all the amenities I would want and then some! Pictures really don’t give it justice for how cool the space is. The bar below is a bit loud but with the provided sound machine, you couldn’t hear anything from the upper level bedroom. We would definitely stay again, and I’d recommend this location to others!

My husband and I loved staying in this Gastown loft! The hosts were excellent communicators, quick to respond and extremely accommodating. The suite itself is very spacious, was sparkling clean, fully stocked, and has modern/high end furniture and amenities (dishwasher, fireplace, in-suite laundry, luxurious soaker tub, etc.). The king bed is firm, yet soft on the body, and extremely comfortable. We also loved having so many restaurants and shopping choices in walking distance!
